This is a first class product at a fraction of some others on the market. Made from quality material, easy to fit and does exactly what is required. My wife suffers from M.S. and arthritis in her knee and she says this appliance has made walking a lot easier as she doesn't have as much trouble with stumbling due to "drop foot". It's not a cure it's an aid but a very good one that provides results.

This is the third Boxia I have bought for my wife. They have been adequate but not perfect.(1) The beige version is supposed to be "discrete". However the cuff comes with a bright blue Orliman label on the outside.This is hardly discrete; I am trying to find some way of hiding it.(2) The cuff comes with padding at the front and back. Unfortunately the front padding covers part of a Velcro pad.As a result the security of one of the Velcro straps is not all it could be. It works, but could be better.(3) The elastic (pull-up) strap is too short for my wife on this small (size-1) version. In the past I have had to buy a separate size-2 strap.This works better than the supplied size-1. However, the strap is about half the cost of the complete package. That certainly puts the price up!The above comments come from my wife. She says that the AFO is obviously designed by a man, for men.However she says that he AFO is effective when it is correctly adjusted.

Great product reall does do what it’s supposed to

I have used this type of foot brace for over 3 years since my accident. It is my means of walking as normally as possible. For anyone with severe foot drop this is a must.

I purchased this item because I have multiple cirrhosis and dropfoot, I was aware this item is sold in two parts nevertheless one part is £29 so purchasing what I thought was a complete item for £49 I was very disappointed to only receive the part that went round the ankle.On contacting the seller it was pointed out I would have to pay another £29 for the part that goes round your foot so the both come to a total of nearly £80 which I found rather expensive.nevertheless a very kind neighbour has done some adjustments for me and it works really well.So without doubt having the complete item this product is very good.it just depends if you want to pay £80.I have pointed all this out to the seller who has agreed to look at the description and if need be change it .

This clever device makes the world of difference to my partner's life. She had a stroke which has caused "dropfoot" - the inability to tense the muscles which make the foot move up and down - and this device pulls her foot into the right position for walking. Without this, she would have great difficulty getting to work or out and about. Ingenious.

As in the photo. It works, quite a business if you want to change footwear, I would recommend if you want to wear it for some time. My foot felt very odd when I took it off, as I manage round the house etc without a support it felt odder than usual. But it is neat, discreet, and does what it says on the tin.

Bought for my dad and it works well however we have noticed that if he wears it so the ankle bit protects the Achilles the D ring bit at the front is twisted out to the outside of his foot or if he has the D ring at the front in the middle (as it is meant to be)his ankle isn’t protected properly and gets rubbed by the padding. It looks like the D ring bit should have been slightly further over than it is. He was measured by his physio so that was correct and correct size ordered. Otherwise arrived quicker than expected.
