I've used this a few times now, it's crazy bright, long run time and great beam pattern. Costs a fraction of light and motion and niterider and some of the other lights I've had.Good mounting option as well. The only down side is turning it on and off is a little wonky... Having to hold the power button in so long I'm often standing there wondering if it died and then suddenly it'll turn on. Turning off is kinda the same. It's strange they don't have a more normal on off method but I can live with it.

This thing in combination with the 1500 lumen helmet lamp by the same brand has allowed me to mountain bike safely in the dead of night. It truly turns night into day on the trail and is a joy to use. The construction seems super high quality and battery life is great. I just did a 2.5 hour ride with it on full blast and got caught in the rain - no issues whatsoever. I'm so glad to be able to mtb safely at night!!!

If you’re looking for a super bright and I mean super bright headlight this is an excellent choice, probably the best choice. It’s not just bright, but emits both dispersed light and focused light, this is important if you want to avoid blinding on coming traffic but still be able to see far down the road ahead.I have a standup electric scooter with a top speed of 64 MPH, the problem with traveling at that speed at night is that you outrun your headlights. This is to say that by the time I could see a pothole or object in front of me there would not be enough time to react. I needed a light bright enough to see objects further down the road and I found it.Why is it a great company? About a year after I bought the light I lost the cable that connects it to the battery. I emailed the manufacturer (who is also the seller) to ask if I could purchase a replacement cable, or if I could get a wiring diagram of the inputs to make my own cable. Instead they shipped one to me at no charge for the cable or the shipping. It shipped from China and was here in less than a week.Way to go Magicshine!!! Thank you so much!!!

I put the light in the mount, extremely tight fit to get it locked in and facing forward like the manual which for some might be a good thing, but while trying to get it turned and out of the mount a tiny plastic nub (I think it's a locking piece) broke. I can't get that part out of the mount, and the mount is now useless.

This light provides superb visibility and appears well made. It's been perfect for riding gnarly New England trails.Sadly it quite suddenly stopped working after just under 2 years. There's not a scratch on the light or cable. Although I love the light I won't buy one again. Almost $250 for 2 years use is too expensive for my wallet.
