I’ve been in the market for a tri-stand for more than a little bit. I purchased a bench type pipe vise years ago from Amazon and it has been more than satisfactory. However, there are those 1 of 4 jobs where there isn’t always a safe enough, sturdy enough place to attach it to. So that’s kept me looking for a tri-stand. Rigid is great. Don’t get me wrong their products are worth every penny but I just haven’t wanted to spend what’s asked for their stands.This is the 1st tri-stand that I’ve seen like this. It’s sturdy, well built and even has a handle to carry it. I don’t think that the Rigid stand has a way to lock the legs in place when it’s in use and when in transit. This one does. So it doesn’t need a chain or bungee to secure the legs when carrying it. Great product!

I just got the top portion of this pipe vice. It's been working great the month I've had it. I'm a Pipe Fitter so I've been using this several times a day to hold me pipe while I prefab my traps and 90's. No concerns or negatives.I did mount this onto my packout tabel so it mobile with me anywhere i go on site.

Quality is acceptable for price point.

Unlike the Vevor Pipe Threading Set, which is garbage, this Vevor tool performs flawlessly. I mounted it on a saw horse with a 1/2" Bolt through the top of the saw horse (home made with 2x6 top) and it is just what I needed.It's a heavy duty tool and should stand up to years and years of use.I recommend this vise to anyone who needs a portable chain vise.
