Excellent camera, great picture,.light also very useful. Have ordered another. Battery life very good before needs charging. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve owned Ezviz cameras for over 2 years and have always found them easy to setup and reliable, battery life is also excellent, day time picture quality is also very good, night vision can be a bit variable depending on location of camera and whether you opt to use the built in lights, these although bright, this is adjustable in the app, do reflect off of walls and fences if close to the camera limiting observable distance, if you’ve got pir lights you can opt for black and white night vision, if you’ve floodlights even better you’ll get night vision.Haven’t found a use for the included solar panel yet, it does charge the camera well as tested it when first setting it up.

A little fidgety to set up (5 minutes) but a great camera, good quality pictures and video. The App is easy to navigate and Solar charging is excellent but I’d recommend charging battery to full capacity before setting up camera. Only downside is the camera went off line a few times in the first week, took a bit of time to reconfigure the settings twice but no problems since. I’ve ordered a second camera for the back of the house now.

Ok so I've taken my time in testing these cheap battery cameras and came across a few issues that may change your mind buying one.I'll start with the good stuff.The camera picture quality is really good, it has a nice wide angle lens. It records to the SD card (free) and cloud (subscription). It's advertises a 110 battery life with it's typical certain amount of uses per day. The pir is really good and has the odd flase hit. Infrared is also very good and excellent night vision picture or colour.Ok here's the bits will either make or break future purchases.The camera bracket is absolutely useless, you cannot angle the camera at a side angle, its poorly designed. It's a screwed plastic cover with a rubber insert to keep the bracket in place, if you tighten too much it just over tightens and slips and this doesn't give you a sturdy mount.In the app you cannot download off the SD card footage it's captured to your device, you have to play the video back and record the screen. You can only download and save to your device using the subscription service. These cameras are being mis-sold as the SD card function is totally useless as you cannot use on your own pc as the files are encrypted.Ok your thinking that's not an issue I'll take the SD card out and play it back on my computer, no you cannot do that either, the footage will not playback on a computer.The PC software is awful, it's simply terrible to work. Nothing works like they say it works, the LAN connected cameras don't work, I believe this is too stop you downloading the footage as everything is encrypted. You don't actually own the SD card footage either.Battery life, ok it's pretty good to be fair in normal circumstances.WIFI connection, now this will still record if you don't have a WiFi connection but and this is a big but, this will kill your battery in 1 day flat. I think this is a firmware issue that the camera is looking all the time for a WiFi connection when it don't have one and it's killing the battery.Solar panel, I do not have the original micro usb solar panel, but I do have a reolink micro usb solar panel, same connection but it will not charge the camera from this other source. I'm not sure if they have some kind of protection on the port to stop other solar panels working.I'm not sure if they plan to change any of the issues I've raised. The biggest one for me is the non WiFi draining the battery life.I did buy x3 of these and would NOT buy them again.It's pretty clear once you buy these cameras that they are subscription based only, but only after you do some research. I feel liked I've been conned.

Use them on my house, great cameras, use with solar panel, works great

The media could not be loaded. I have been searching for a outdoor security camera for a while and made a right decision buying this little security camera (Ezviz CB3).The built of this camera is superb. Picture quality is very clear during days and even during night time it is very good colour quality. Built in alarm and spot lights are good to deter intruders which I like the most.Two ways talk is very useful to communicate when you are not at home. You can also customise your voice alert on the camera which is useful.Notifications comes instantly on my phone app and the internet connection hasn't drop so far. Happy!It says battery life is 120 days which I assumed it depends on the usesages. After using for more than 2 weeks it is only showing very small percentage drop. So I think battery life will last nearer to 120 days.I have highly recommended this camera to my friends/families and some of them have purchased this camera which they are very help with it.

Excellent battery security cam with long battery life.

I brought this in April 24 and had it put up in May 24, it was working great until recently (Dec 24) when the battery died after 2 days and now won't charge at all.It kept turning off and would working for a couple of hours then turned itself off. Tried charging but it won't charge at all. It's a shame as it was working really well. I have another one which I haven't had as long so hopefully that one won't go the same way. As it's passed the return window in can't return even though it is obviously faulty.
