My last vacuum jug started leaking some time ago, I disposed of it and had been looking ever since to replace it. Then I saw the Stelton one, it was love a first sight! So stylish, it wins every time in the looks department! But what makes this vacuum jug better than any other is just how long it stays hot! I filled it with boiling water on day one, left it, checked on day two, and the water scalded my finger! Day three, and the water was still so hot that it would have been perfectly ok for a nice, hot instant coffee! That's quality! Needless to say that I am very pleased with it.

Allows you to make a big batch of filter coffee, keep it hot and not end up with the stewed nastiness that comes from keeping on a hot plate.

As widely reported, the seal isn’t watertight, so coffee gathers inside the carafe between external wall and insulated internal flask.When you pour out your freshly made coffee, some of yesterday’s - perhaps along with washing up water - will join in your mug.

Some of the reviews here say it doesn't keep the contents warm. I simply can't agree with that. We've had it for about six months, and it's consistently and properly hot even hours after the contents have been added. Indeed, I've got home from work and when emptying to wash up, the contents are still pretty warm (you wouldn't want to drink it, though...)Looks great, performs really well.

This item came with others but unfortunately it was badly packaged and the interior glass container was smashed on delivery. I ordered a second one from elsewhere and that was extremely well packaged.The jug came with safety instructions but no other instructions other than to avoid putting boiling water directly into it and to not use abrasive cleaners on the glass.As far as I can see, once you have put the lid on, you can't get it off again without turning the whole thing upside down. I don't know what the little knob is on the outside but presume it is for replacing the vacuum glass. There is an alternative stopper that completely seals the jug and you are advised to use it when there are small children around.OK it looks the biz and it keeps the coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time. You don't have to do anything other than just pour in order to extract the coffee, once the jug has been filled. It is easy to extract the lid once the flask is empty. I would have liked a grip handle on the top of the jug to enable one to remove the top when the jug is full of hot coffee.Overall my wife and I are pleased with it. However, in view of the fact that it is fragile and the whole thing is expensive, we would hesitate to take it on a picnic.

Leggermente più scomoda da versare rispetto ad una brocca standard, ma tiene temperatura dell'acqua da frigo (in piena estate) per 12-24h.Mi trovo molto bene e personalmente la consiglio.

We bought it for the heat. It's a very good product, holds heat perfectly. We didn't use it overnight yet, but after several hours the temperature was very hot. It has this unusual cap (in addition to the regular screw-on one). You just put it in, and it appears to hold the temperature (at least for 4-5 hours when we used it), and at the same time allows you to pour out liquid without unscrewing the cap - very safely, no spills. You can turn it almost upside down, still the cap doesn't fall out and no spilling. Kind of unique, and works wonderful. Plus, very modern design - we like it a lot.

Hatte die gleiche Kanne in klein, die benutze ich seit Jahren für Kaffee, nun kommt die 'große Schwester' für Tee dazu. Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung, hält lange warm, gießt sauber aus, sieht superhübsch aus...Mehr will ich nicht!
