Helly HansenMen's Seven J Jacket

As a 6'4" tall, 19 stone man with a large beer belly, I was very impressed with this jacket (Size XXL). I wanted a lightweight waterproof jacket to stuff into a pocket in my rucksack for the British Grand Prix last weekend, and the jacket fully met all of my expectations. It fitted nicely, just large enough to comfortably wear a t-shirt and microfleece underneath, and not so baggy it got in the way. It was long enough to cycle with both in the arms and the length (No builders issue at all). And the waterproofing was great, we had a torrential downpour just before the race, and the water simply beaded straight off. Just a warning, if you don't have waterproof bottoms on and are sat in a chair, you will have a wet lap and posterior as that is exactly where the water is heading. But that's my fault and not an issue with the coat. It also works well against the wind, I was warm and dry (On my top half) throughout.

No complaints The jacket is very comfortable and light and great fit and it also keeps me dry when I'm out and about because I'm from the UK London where it rains alot.

I'm really enjoying this jacket, fits really well for me (6ft2 height) (18stone) (Beer gut) And it slims me down great!I bought the XXL and the hood is nice and the jacket is rather comfertable in heavy rain although a light sweater under it is recommended.Only real con about this jacket is the inside pocket is on the right side and not on the left, I prefer my inside pocket on the left because i'm right handed...but i'm sure that's not a big deal for most right handers...i'm just nit picking, this is a really good jacket and worth the money...the zip pockets on the sides are nice too, nice and deep! huhuh.

Very light and easily folds into a small bag. It did a great job in very wet weather the first time I used it. It’s a shame that the hood doesn’t fold away though

Big boy jacket. Fits like a glove. Nice for the price

My husband has worn this same style HH jacket for the past 15 years or so, and insists it's the only jacket he'll wear. It looks good and although it appears to be quite thin, he says it's very deceiving as even in very cold and wet weather, it keeps him warm and dry. Very good price for it too - usually much more expensive on the High St.

Excellent coat, if a bit pricey.But you get what you pay for.Best water proof jacket I ever owned.
