How many fish points doEs this carry???

Ignore the fish points, they dont work for many species. this tank is good for a beta, or a few guppies/killifish any small fish. Remember you need to cycle any tank for 6 to 8 weeks and ignore the 2 days or whatever pets at home try and tell you to do.

is it possible to remove the lid to fit an auto feeder for occasions when away on holidays?

You can remove the lid but the light is in it. My tank went back as it went mouldy.

Is this good for neon tetras? And does it break down a lot?

This is a fantastic kit (I personally have one with guppies, mollies and tetras in). Never had an issue with it and lighting is brilliant.
