Joseph JosephIW2 Biodegradable, Compostable Bags, Pack of 50 Food Waste Bin Liners, White, Small, 4 Litres

We bought these in an emergency over Christmas, having run out of the ones issued by our local council, free of charge, those being I think 7L. These comments compare the two, used with a JJ 4L food caddy. These bags fit the food caddy perfectly without spare bits of bag hanging down outside the food caddy. Most noticeable difference is that these are considerably stronger, the council ones sometimes rupturing for minor reasons such as fish bones, handling damage. I feel confident carrying the JJ food bags full, without a hand underneath 'just in case' as I do with the council ones. Overall worth the cost IMO.

These bags fit the Joseph Joseph food bin pefectly. They are fully compostable so fine to use. They are very thin but strong as well. Using them has the added benefit of keeping my outdoor food bin clean and not at all smelly. Much nicer for the bin men as well. I can thoroughly recomend them.

Really good product and fit my caddy perfectly. Only issue is on price which is high.

I like these, and I particularly like that they are compostable. The fit well and are reasonably robust, all things considered. I will say that the first time we used one, a vine tomato stem pierced the side of the bag leaving all manner of gross juices to flow out; however this isn't something which has happened again since. Overall, they are pretty strong given the size and the fact they are compostable. Will continue to buy.

Useful items in good packaging for regular use. They tend to sink to the bottom of the bag if stored vertically as the hook loop at the end of the package suggests. Fine if stored flat in a drawer etc

I just love my Joseph Ben and the small little compartment in the corner that you can add all the smelly stuff in like eggs and scraping off plates is very useful. These are the liners for that compartment they hold food produce and liquids extremely well.

I finally gave up using the council composting caddy and bags a few weeks ago.The old bags (which were compostable were terrible, and split and fell apart just putting them in the bin) were infuriating.These however fit the Joseph Joseph Compost Caddy perfectly, they are very sturdy and well made, they can be used to carry the veg waste to the heap and do not split or tear.They are everything I hoped they would be, and whilst not cheap, there is for me, about a years worth of bags here.Excellent

These are great so much better than the green ones from the supermarket. I like this they do not leak and are perfect for the Joseph caddy but could use in other caddies too.
