I would have given 5 stars but had to file the width of the cutout for the bridge pickup. The cutout was about 2mm to small. Otherwise it’s excellent, all the screw holes line up and the finish and feel are good.

Bought to switch out the one that came with my fender Mexican blacktop telecaster. None of the pickguards I’ve ordered seem to match up with the original one so I had a feeling a bit of work might be needed when I made the purchase which was okay with me. Doesn’t look cheap or anything and delivery was much quicker than stated. Would have given it five stars if it came with screws.

I wanted a Matt black pick guard and got this at a really good price however when it came I noticed that there was no foil tape backing. This finish looks a little cheap on inspection and so I probably won’t use for now

Item arrived nicely packed but the scratch plate is for the older style tele, not the latest mexican made units with double (chrome & Black) humbuckers. Being that the rectangular pickup hole was too small I was able to carefully open out the rectangle and the bridge slot to suit my guitar and the unit now fits. So with a little fettling time this item will fit and is also reasonable quality at a very good price.

Good product! Doesn't fit the Fender Tele HH player series though!had to file mine down.

Good product, just needs a little bit of work to make fit.
