Delicious!
Great mochi candy! Takes just like what we used to buy and make in Japan. My kids love this candy so much we subscribed

Rengoku says Tasty
I expected a very basic or bland flavor. But, it still had a subtle sweetness to it.

Yum! But so expensive
I enjoy the taste and texture of these but considering how I can easily eat the whole bag in one day, wow are these expensive! It would be great if there was a bigger option at a discount

Plain gummies. No flavor.
I put it in my mouth and expect some kind of lemon flavor. Nothing. Just an aroma when opening the package. A faint wisp of lemon smell. But no actual flavor. I was hoping for an infused with lemon experience. But it got left out. So I’m disappointed. Someone forget to put the lemon in this batch?

If texture is important to you get the Plain and skip the flavored versions!
The Texture of these candies is very different between the plain and the flavored varieties. The Plain flavor is the closest to what I was looking for in texture-- a richer, chewier mochi texture that I remember from my time spent in Japan. The other flavors I also tried however they were not at all similar in texture to the Plain flavor texture. The other flavors are more like regular jellied candies, not very "chewy" at all and do not have that satisfying mochi mouth feel. So if you're shopping for texture, try the plain. If you're shopping for flavor and not too picky about the texture, then the other flavors you might enjoy. I didn't care for the flavored textures as I was looking for mochi. I will stick with plain, but remember there's not a lot of "flavor" with plain, but there is all the texture. It's even chewier if you refrigerate them!

Yummy
Huge hit with the whole family. Tasty not too sweet and perfect with a cup of tea.

Not so great
I was really looking forward to these, although I’ve never had them, I was relying upon the write up on Amazon. I thought they would be similar to Turkish delights. Unfortunately, the texture is a little more “floury” and there isn’t a great deal of flavor.

Safe for Crowns!
Years ago I pressed my teeth into a Gelatin Orange Sugar Slice and the suction power I received yanked out one of my crowns which had a replacement cost of around $1200. That's expensive candy that I no longer eat! However, these Mochi's do not have near the same suction power when chewing them. The Pear flavor is similar to real Pears and I enjoy letting it dissolve in my mouth for a while before trying to chew it.These Mochi's are not overly sweet and since they are individually wrapped, they won't all stick together. They're a little pricey, but so is dessert at any restaurant now, plus, I didn't have to travel to Japan to get them.
