Give great information on the Scandinavian countries
I bought this book when I was planning a trip to Denmark. During that trip I also used the book to visit Sweden. I am also using the book for planning my trip to Iceland. Very useful book

Exactly What We Needed
We are planning a trip to Scandinavia and this is a very useful book. Organized by country and then major cities within each country… it gives you a good sense of top sights and activities.For me this is a first step to plan how many days we wanted to spend in each country. It won’t take the place of online research, but it does narrow down what you would do research on. Overall we very much like it.

Not really enough to plan a complete trip. Just a few hotels and restaurants. I could get the same info and more online.

Useful guide to start planned a trip to Scandinavia
Went on a trip to Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Bergen and used this book to help make sure we weren’t missing anything. Had some helpful tips on transportation, sightseeing, and history of the areas. Nice that this book organizes information that can be lacking in travel blogs that I usually use as “trip inspiration”. The book covers much more than my trip so will hopefully be used again for a future trip to go for the northern lights. Reason for taking off a star is there was a lot of focus on restaurants and hotels which I didn’t find particularly helpful.

Not Very Helpful
We purchased this book and took it to Norway and Iceland and unfortunately, of the 8 cities we visited Fodor's offered very little in the way of helpful information.
