Great item & good price maybe package a little better tho I had two fragrances in 2 card envelopes no other packaging. One box was crushed and due to being a gift has been returned

I remember the advertisements on TV… sea birds flying high, a man hang gliding, rugged guy slapping Blue Stratos aftershave on his face and woman caressing him. The men always seemed “smart casual” and lived a life slightly out of reach.What do you mean that was fifty years ago? I’m going to have that life right now by liberally applying Blue Stratos!As a very popular product during the 70s and 80s, I was quite keen to try Blue Stratos again as part of my quest to accumulate various aftershaves of yesteryear. This particular one is inexpensive (unlike the accompanying lifestyle!) and comes in a fairly distinctive if not particularly exciting blue bottle with the sea bird logo.It has a fresh smell which falls somewhere between Old Spice and Brut… fewer spicy notes than Old Spice but not quite as fresh and punchy as Brut. It is quite refreshing and cooling on the face and neck after shaving and the scent lingers a reasonable amount of time for an aftershave (perhaps getting on for four hours). There is less sting from this aftershave than some others.The aftershave is part of a range of Blue Stratos products which includes a shower gel, a body spray and an eau de toilette. Combining them might allow you to smell like the 1970s or 1980s that much longer.Back in the day, there was a time that this was one of the few aftershaves that I owned, alongside Insignia. You didn’t necessarily get to choose the ones that you got for Christmas but I do have a familiarity and fondness for this one and am glad to have reacquainted myself with it.It doesn’t quite hold up to some of the other classics such as Old Spice or Tabac and in the modern era doesn’t have the nuance and complexity of some of the more recent fragrances. However, it was good for its day and I think still has a place as a fresh and pleasing scent for general use. But I still haven’t got that lifestyle they promised me!

Not sure if its the strongest smelling or if it lasts but it's OK for the price.

I remember buying this in the seventies so when this popped up at this price I thought why not give it a go.I have to say how pleased I am I did for this is still surprisingly fresh and brings back many memories.That said it is as good as many current aftershaves at way higher prices.It's definitely worth buying as an everyday aftershave
