I wanted a black cat plushie, but not just any plushie! I wasn't sure what I was looking for but sought high and low until I came across this one.This is excellent. It has a very nice weight to it. I ordinarily find plushies obnoxious to sleep with but find myself cuddling with this one. Usually resting it on my chest with its front legs around my neck. The weight is distributed quite well with even some beads in the limbs, so it doesn't just have floppy legs with a heavy belly.The tummy beads are ceramic and can be heated or frozen. I've only heated them (they come in a beanbag-like pouch) and even if the beads themselves are a little hot to handle right out the microwave, once back in the toy, the heat distributes wonderfully and lasts for a couple hours. The tummy area is closed by a nice zipper, not velcro, so no worries about your beads falling out and scalding you (assuming you zip it back up!)I was unaware that the eye color and inner ears were glitter, which isn't great, but I haven't found any stray glitters and even when actively scraping the glitter parts, only a couple pieces fall off. I consider this a very minor nitpick as a result, but worth mentioning because the description doesn't make it clear, in case it matters to you too.This is also well-constructed. The fur hasn't fallen out, no stray stitches, and overall surpassed my expectations. Especially for the price point. Due to the material, I'd suggest just spot-cleaning it and sanitizing spray. I don't know that I'd personally want to put it in the wash, especially because of the material and weight in the limbs. But I suppose if you spilled on it, you could handwash it in cool water and line-dry it. Or if you're brave, gentle cycle, cold water. I'd still suggest line-drying it. But ideally just don't spill your soda on it. I will update this if/ when that happens to me.I also like to spray just a tiny (emphasis on TINY) bit of smell-good spray on its face and chest. I doubt it's recommended because of the fur material, but it's mine and I do what I want. The smell lasts for a while and I just find it soothing. If I were smarter I'd likely make a scented pouch thing and put it in the tummy space, but my smell-good spray of choice is an expensive perfume sample and I'm greedy. I bet there's a way to use an essential oil or something similar but I haven't tried it. Not sure about spraying anything on the beads themselves since they're ceramic. But the plushie itself does not have a smell, not even that weird factory smell you sometimes come across.Overall, this would make a great gift for most ages (I'd probably avoid super young children, due to the weight in particular). I'd love this as a kid or an elderly person. Especially if you're someone who likes weighted items. It adds just enough pressure to where it feels like you have a companion with you. Especially if you heat up the belly. Plus when you look down and see it's cute little face looking up at you, I don't see how you can NOT like this?Love love love. One of the best purchases I've made this year. I use it on almost a nightly basis as a sleep aid, as I deal with insomnia. I would buy another one if this one got destroyed, easily, without any hesitation.

The fur is very soft and the legs are definitely weighted as advertised. It provides a more spread out pressure focused on the legs. Because of this it feels a bit lighter in the middle than I wanted. Thankfully the pocket that holds the weighted bag is big enough to squeeze in another weighted bag I had from a different plushie so now it feels more even. I did try freezing the original weight bag for a few hours and when in the plushie, the belly of the plushie feels cool for a bit but definitely not cold. Haven’t tried the warming feature. There are a couple loose threads hanging after going through a gentle wash cycle and air dry but otherwise it did great and feels durable. Its a nice huggable size but the arms are a bit short to hang over my shoulders easily, may be ok for a child though? Overall very comfy and adorable. Just might recommend adding some more weight in the middle depending on your preference

I got this weighted dog plush for my boyfriend because he’s always surprising me with stuffed animals, so I wanted to return the favor. I honestly didn’t expect him to love it as much as he does! He’s an athlete and says the weight really helps with muscle cramps and soreness after training. It’s cute, super soft, and surprisingly practical. S!

I got the brown bear and I love him! I have anxiety but I've never tried using weighted things before and I definitely get the appeal!! I absolutely adore him. I love that it's unscented because I have sensitive acne-prone, rosacea-prone skin and I cuddle this bear every single night so I'm glad it's not scented like all the other heated plushies.You unzip its tummy, take out the weighted heat pack and microwave the pouch only, not the plush!! There's also weight in all four of his limbs.One thing I really hope the manufacturer fixes is the neck. I don't know about the other animals but for the brown bear his neck is really thin and flimsy.I wish they put more stuffing (plush stuffing, not weight) into his neck because sometimes if you accidentally pick up the bear the wrong way by grabbing his head/ear/etc. it makes you pull on his neck because of his weight limbs, which again the neck is really flimsy.My bear now has a very tiny hole in his neck from me accidentally grabbing him incorrectly (pictured, it's really hard to see but it's definitely there, you can feel it.)You could assume this is due to "user error" but honestly, it's a stuffed plush, and you shouldn't need to be careful with how you're picking it up.If things were different, I would've probably opened a return with Amazon because it wasn't cheap, but unfortunately I'm too attached to him to return him, plus I threw away the packaging he came in.Not sure if I'll consider repurchasing if my bear's head ends up falling off. He's cute so I might, but also might switch to a different brand that'll have better quality.. Unless they fix the issue then in that case, I'm first in line!

This item was purchased for my wife after the loss of our daughter. The bear is better than advertised, it is very soft, very durable, not too sure what kind of stuffing they used but it maintains it shape very well. The size and weight is really nice and so is the smell
