Best Biltong and Drywors combo - 1kg

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel like I should for this product. Hand on heart this is the best Biltong and Drywors I’ve had. Dried meat is very much a personal taste and this stuff is right up my street.

This was packaged on receipt of the order. The date is clear with the expiry 28 days later adding that it can be kept longer, (unopened), in a cool dry place. Highly unlikely as the droewors is delicious. It has an easy chewable texture and the taste is just awesome, the best I have had. The biltong is moist and has a bit of fat that adds to the superb flavour. The pieces are bite size with the right texture and moresome. I managed to keep them for just over a week taken out of the plastic bag and put in a bowl in the fridge, stirring once or twice a day. No mould developed nor any loss of flavour. Will be purchasing more. Cannot fault the product nor the service.

Wors came raw it's supposed to be dry and was very raw. Not nice at all. Bitong on the other hand is nice.

They sell a supreme quality biltong/droewors combo for any ex-pat South African desiring the real-meal deal on a true traditional SA staple. Biltong is delicious, not dead dry like some of the wannabes out there: it is soft, moist and has just a touch of fat here and there to make it simply drool-worthy. The droewors is so addictive and once you start eating it, it is hard to keep hands out of the jar. Best biltong and droewors out there and also very reasonably priced.Two thumbs up (Twee duime op!)

I am afraid this was not of an acceptable quality - it was edible but.....the droewors had very strong plasticky, chemical odour and taste to it. In the batch I received it went away after a week and we did finish it but my son was not so lucky and had to throw his in the bin. It was however also not sufficiently seasoned and tasted quite bland.The biltong was ok, no odd taste but it also tasted bland and after a week a white residue had formed on most of the pieces. This also went into the bin.

Bought the 500g variant of the combo and boasted to friends and family it was the best droëwors I ever had - ordered the 1kg option and the droëwors was probably the driest I’ve ever tasted, can’t even comment on the flavour it’s so dry. I have asked the seller to add in the description the information about requesting wet portions in the future so future customers won’t be disappointed in variety of products delivered (extremely dry to perfectly wet)

Arrived very promptly in perfect condition very well packaged.Both products are very tasty and there was quite a lot of it although I have dropped a star basically as it is quite expensive for what it is. Although in fairness having looked at other sites for these products they do seem to be quite expensive wherever you go.
