Due to arthritis I’m starting to lose strength in my hands and this has been the most amazing gadget I’ve bought to date!

I have a mother who can not walk so she is no longer a shower or bath person. This inflatable hair washing accessory works from her transport chair up against the kitchen sink. Probably easiest with two people but I was able to manage fine on my own.Without a 2nd person watching and assisting, you have to make sure that you are extra careful of gaps around the neck, or your person will get a soaking on their upper body and possibly their waist area too.Do your best to use one hand on the kitchen faucet hose while your other hand works to divert the water away from the neck. Every half-minute or so, push up from the bottom, dumping any water that isn't draining freely back into the sink. Also, check that you are holding the accessory tight enough around the neck so that the water does not escape and go all over the upper body. Have a body towel around the neck and shoulders before putting your person into the inflatable washing basin.You will only need to use one or two hand towels to dry their hair after you've washed it, which is much easier than using another bath-sized towel. But you will need a clean, dry top to replace what they have on because it will get wet. Nevertheless, this product makes it easier to clean your person's hair and is worth the price. Your person will feel cleaner and refreshed!

This item works well for shampooing clients whom have neck and back issues. It gives a snug fit to the shampoo bowl and keeps the client dry and is comfortable on their neck.

I had back surgery. It’s difficult for me to wash my hair on my own when I’m not in the shower. Received this today and used it today. I have a small neck and it barely fit my neck. I saw in the picture that someone had a towel underneath it so that’s what I did. But it kept coming apart. The neck closure needs to be extended otherwise I believe it’s more suited for children. Even though I had a towel around my neck, and had it closed water still ran down my neck. Most of the water went into the sink. We put a towel underneath my bath chair. Some of the water seeped onto the floor. Nevertheless, is better than having nothing. Won’t buy again. Well made though. You have to blow the air in -does not come with that pump you saw in the video.

This is a great tool to have for a travel stylist or a person doing hair in a nursing home facility. My clients says it is very comfortable and your client does not get wet! That was my most concerning factor. Very sturdy and functional. I have recommended this item to several people.

I made the mistake when I ordered this, of assuming it was just like the one I already had. I chose this because it was half the cost of the first one I had bought that I was replacing. (User error on first) When we went to use this, we discovered it's half the size. The straps didn't fit around an adult size neck and it barely reached the sink from the chair. I ended up soaked and irritated with a flooded kitchen floor after having my hair washed while using this. Take my advice, go for the $19.99 better quality and size item.

Not sure if it was product or user. Tried this with my mother in law who hat Alzhimers. She ended up drenched so was the counter, the floor and myself.

With out this I couldn't was my hair. I'm new to the wheelchair life and cannot get in the shower, surgery site and physical limitations prevent that for now. This one is a decent price being I will only need it for a couple weeks. I will also add as a guy with a medium/long beard you can spin it around and use for that! If t could add one thing to it it'd be another air pocket in the neck area, you will most likely have to roll a towel up to put there for support.
