Hard vs flexible plastic. Stays put better.

I wanted to have a clear ruler on hand with both inch and centimeter markings and this two-pack worked out pretty well for me. They appear to be made out of cast acrylic which gives them good clarity and some flex. They both have a small dimple near one end that was probably the spot where the plastic was injected into the mold during manufacturing. It sits below the bottom surface and doesn't affect the flatness or hang up on anything though.The markings are accurate enough for the given scales, though I would note that neither scale actually starts at the very end of the ruler. This could be good or bad depending on how you intend to use it. The rulers did both have a very slight bow to them, but it's really not that bad. Putting the rulers back-to-back, you can see the slight gap in the middle between them. I think these rulers are actually a great value for the price.

The rulers were exactly what I needed and just as advertised.

I like that they come two in package. One for the desk at home and one for school backpack.
