Exactly as described
Does exactly as said on the description. We used masking tape to make the lines neater as on our first attempt we found it wasn’t very neat. After using masking tape it was very easy to use and created smooth lines. The colour is a perfect white and has made the sealant in our shower look brand new. Doesn’t have a strong smell. It take a good day to dry fully

The sealant was good but the coverage and applicator is questionable.
I used this for 2 vertical areas either side of a shower where old grout had degraded. The product has the consistency of toothpaste, and so can be moved around and cleaned off before it sets, which is good. It states a 5m run at 1mm deep, which it may do in ideal circumstances with perfect application, but the reality for me was very different. I scraped off old grout, so I was applying a thicker layer, and I only managed about 1.2m - so I ended up needing 4 tubes which was costly. There is no way you can perfectly co-ordinate the movement, the angle, and the pressure accurately enough to apply a perfect amount, so you end up with a lot of excess wastage. And every time the applicator passes near a joint in a tile, you get a bump in the run of sealant (and I have mosaic tiles with a lot of bumps!) Eventually I found that after using the applicator to get a general rough line of sealant, it was better to use a wet sponge to quickly run down the tiles a couple of times which gave a much better appearance. The sealant was good but the applicator could be considered a marketing gimmick.

It’s a quick and simple way to freshen up old, discoloured sealant without the hassle of scraping it out and starting again.Application is straightforward, and the finish is smooth and neat with minimal effort. Not so easy to apply.
I needed a small amount of sealant to repair some around the bathroom sink. This product looked ideal and I must say has done the job. I found it dried fairly quickly and looks fine. However, I must say that it is not as easy to apply as it sounds, very difficult to angle it correctly and too much comes out so had to wipe away excess with a tissue. I would not want to do a large area with this as I think it could make a mess.

A very quick way to make a very big mess
I'm unsure what I was expecting from this product. Maybe some way to efficiently and cleanly dispense a small bead of silicon, which would be smoothed into place?Alas, that's a fantasy. What you get with this product is an instant mess. It works for the first maybe 5-10 seconds...? But then you have to shake the tube to get more of the silicon goo to the bottom so it can be squeezed out. Otherwise you just get air bubbles. So. your nice clean bead of silicon already looks a mess when you try to resume.Consistently squeezing the tube is hard work, especially considering you're going to be applying this in places that aren't 100% accessible, like a shower cubicle. There's a reason why professional bathroom installers use caulk guns for this kind of thing. What you end-up with is a lot of silicon goo in places you won't want it, that you have to do something with. And it's sticky, nasty stuff that gets everywhere very, very quickly.I would say the chances of any DIYer using this product to apply an even band of silicon, without having to do any clean-up afterward, are about 10%.You're going to need to use a razor blade to scape off the excess once it's all dried. Again, some of those people who are expert DIYers may have better luck. But I've done all kinds of DIY, including installing two new bathrooms over the years. OK, so I'm no expert, and I would describe myself as average. I found this product to be near useless. It over-promises, as is often the case with this "quick" DIY fixes. It would've made more sense for me to scrape out the old silicon and just apply a fresh bead. I wish I had. That would be messy and time consuming but then, so is this product.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I really found this easy to use, and I’m not super skilled or anything.. Bathroom looks brilliant after use. Def will re purchase.

Easy to use and good finish
The applicator was very good, takes a little practice, but once you get it it makes it a breeze to do. I think the silicone is thinner than when you get a gun tube but it sets just as hard and doesn’t drip, I would suggest not using your finger to ‘fix’ bits as the silicone does not work the same way and spreads out way more doing this/ just go back over it with the tub spreader (the right way around!). I would say it has enough to go around the bath, then a bit more, which is good to allow for mistakes/practices. But the finish is worth the extra price especially if you are not a pro at it!
