As a home school teacher, I bought the Brain Quest Workbook for my 6th Grade students to help them review 6 grade skills for the last weeks of school and it has exceeded my expectations. The content is well-organized, engaging, and covers a wide range of subjects including math, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and even a bit of science and social studies. It strikes a perfect balance between being challenging and fun.What I especially love is how it’s broken down into digestible sections, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. The colorful pages and interactive exercises (like puzzles, short writing prompts, and multiple-choice questions) keep my child interested and motivated. There are also helpful explanations and answer keys in the back to check the work.This workbook is a great supplement to school learning or for home school families. Whether you're looking to review or get ahead, I highly recommend it for any rising or current 6th grader. It’s a great investment in your child’s education!

The content is well-written and age-appropriate, with a good balance of difficulty. Some questions make kids think a bit harder, which is great preparation for middle school.Highly recommended for any student who wants to stay ahead or review in a stress-free way!

The Brain Quest Workbook for 6th Grade proved to be an excellent tool to kick-start my daughter’s journey into sixth grade. This workbook served as both an introduction to unfamiliar topics and a supplemental resource during her classes. The variety of subjects covered—math, language arts, science, social studies, and more—allowed her to approach each topic with confidence and curiosity.The layout is intuitive, and the activities are engaging without feeling overwhelming. I particularly appreciated the progression of difficulty within each section, which helped build her understanding step-by-step. We have used these Brain Quest books for all 3 kids since Pre K! They are super straight forward and easy to learn from or brush up on skills during summer. I homeschooled during COVID-19 shutdowns and these were by far my favorite learning tools! Currently using the 6th grade one for my 6th grader. The only complaint is that there are many “Answers May Vary” or no answers giving at all on the answer sheet, so there is more involved, at times, when grading some pages.

There are three major players in these workbooks, I have used them all (Thanks Covid) and they all are great! Just buy one!!! Don't suffer from decisional paralysis. One is great with online accessible version access-great for long road trips. One is great for "Common Core Aligned" Content which is super if you want your child to move up in EOGs. If your child is already at the top of EOGs, DO NOT get the Core aligned workbooks. My child (since 2020) learned cursive (OMG-his cursive is so beautiful!), learned to read subway maps, city maps, hiking in wilderness topographic maps (knowing which trails are steeper). He could tell me at entering 3rd grade how much change to expect from a purchase. But again, YOU as a parent involved make these worthwhile. Just buy one and review it/learn with your child!
