Chicken Coop Large Metal Chicken Run for 6/10 Chickens Poultry Cage with Waterproof Cover for Duck Walk-in Chicken Pen for Yard

We bought this pen for our quail. Not the best photo and the inside isn’t complete yet but we have purchased 2 other pens from other sellers and we like this one better. The door/latch is more convenient and easy to use! We have 10 bobwhite quail but could easily put many more. You could comfortably put 5 chickens in here if they don’t free range or have a run.

Easy to put together, perfect size for what I need it for. Holds up to heavy rain, storms are supposed to run through later today will post if it does not hold up.

Easy to put together and set up. The chicken wire is definitely not predictor proof and is very thin, needs hardware cloth installed on top at least the bottom half. It’s a little smaller in size but will work great for our chickens. I would also recommend using stronger zip ties. The ones included are small and won’t stand up over time.The tarp included is okay, not very try thick but will serve its purpose for the time being. It will provide some shade coverage, I did reinforce it with making more grommet holes to attach it more secure to prevent it from becoming a kite in the wind.All in all for the price is does what we need it too. We also plan on using concrete blocks around the entire perimeter to help with stability and provide predator protection.

Assembled it myself. Very easy the zip ties and wiring to the chicken wire is the only time consuming part. Otherwise I’m happy with it and so are the birds. Now I get to add another 30 birds.

Ideally I thought it was going to be a lot bigger as shown in the picture. Maybe show a person next to it. I’m 4”11 and it think it’s pretty small. Definitely a two person job to put together for sure. And there isn’t a lot of stakes so I’ll be buying more unfortunately to hold it stay down. Metal is cheap I find the outside dog pens at tractor supply more sturdy. I love the latch though definitely a lot easier to use then the tractor supply ones, but definitely need to do a size comparison for people to actually see what they are getting. I will post another review once I have finished fully putting it together because it takes a few hours to make sure everything is right. I love my ducks and geese so I’m hoping this protects them and workout.

Perfect for a run! Not 100% predator proof and they need somewhere safe to be locked up at night but my boyfriend’s dog has pushed her lucky plenty and it has held up. The girls love it for when they can’t free range and my 7 layers have plenty of room. (I have 8 more babies in the brooder hopefully I have enough room for the 15 later on to be together and not have to add another section lol)

I always read reviews and not one of them mentioned that what they received was NOT what is pictured. It looks very similar but it is missing the top support that it shows under the tarp. It did come with a center pole brace for inside that also is not as pictured. The very first rain storm we had after assembling this caused rain to collect on top of the tarp and completely bent the top poles down and nearly snapped them. The thickness of the poles is not as good as I expected either. I have only had this up for two weeks and it has already broken. I do not recommend it.

We ordered hardware cloth instead of using the chicken wire that was provided. Still have one small section to put the hardware cloth up on. But it’s a great little enclosure for our chickens and their coop.
