I have no idea...I don’t own a de Buyer carbon steel 12.5” skillet!

Can this pan cook Acid base foods without any problem?

As with any carbon steel pans, what matters most is how you season the pan. You cannot buy a carbon steel pan and use it like stainless steel. You have to season the pan at least 6 times before using it and then it will have a protective layer which will allow you to cook acidic foods and also allows you to use it like a non-stick pan. What is the weight? The description is obviously incorrect.
