Good size, good detail, durable
The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t sure this would last, given it is essentially a glorified balloon come beach ball! However, here I am 3 months in and it’s still in good shape, has survived a bit of rough’n’tumble, and does have a reasonable mount of geographical detail on it too, which is important! It’s a very good size, and the print on it is completely legible. The colours are all vibrant, and it can fulfill educationally to a certain level if required. Bounce and learn my friends, bounce and learn.

Excellent globe but difficult to inflate
A very good globe indeed. Useful to have the countries of the world shown and a valuable teaching resource. I have knocked a star off since blowing this up damn near killed me. The seal valve is very effective at retaining air in the globe, but it does make it very hard to blow it up. If you have access to an air pump or similar, I'd recommend you use that!Otherwise an excellent globe.

Awesome and Excellent Mega Globe!
After reading so many reviews complaining about inflatable globes, I am so happy to report no complaints whatsoever here! This globe is excellent! Very large, very good quality, and with capitals and major cities for each country too. It's been inflated for over two weeks now and is still as good (round) as ever! The plastic smell dissipates and fades away very quickly. To inflate, we used a simple inexpensive hand pump that we used to inflate a yoga exercise ball here at home. Could not be easier or quicker! Highly recommend this Mega Globe!

4 year old loves it
Grandson bouncing round the house as I type. Useful toy I think. On our second one, tip, don't allow kid to stab it with scissors.Seriously, this is a faourite toy. That's why I purchased a second one. Already a third is in my basket, I have hidden the scissors.

Almost great
This is a great idea. We wanted this item to give to our eldest son (age 5) who is fascinated with countries and geography. The size is great and it blows up just fine. However, the detail is pretty awful. The printing process hasn't always printed the country names in exactly the right place, which isn't such an issue for big countries, but a real problem for smaller countries. Also, really small countries are without names at all - not really a problem unless you come from one of these places and were hoping to show it to your son!!!Some people have mentioned the smell. It's a mass produced plastic item, so has a very strong plastic manufacturing smell when first unpacked, but this does dissipate.Great idea, very nearly well executed - but overall, i can't really fully recommend it.

Great toy! Excellent value.
My 5 yr old niece and nephew both received one of these from me as part of their christmas presents. They love using it as a ball and throwing it about! Also, I loved explaining the different continents and countries on it! They seemed really interested to know where places are etc. However, I wouldn't recommend buying this for a child over the age of say 10 if you were hoping for it to be very educational, because it isn't really 100% accurate geography-wise! As you'd expect from the low price and the fact it is actually an inflatable ball, some of the countries are missing or greatly reduced at the joins! This isn't a problem if you're just using it as a rough guide for young children, though! A very fun toy and great value for money!!

Nice ball, but not a good globe.
The globe is large, it looks nice and it seems durable enough, but someone needs a lesson in geography:The shape of some countries seems very inaccurate. Madrid seems to be a hundred miles away from its real location, London seems to be on the West rather than on the East, at least 200 miles from the real location, the capital of Western Sahara has been renamed from "El Aaiún" (Laayoune) to "El Aalun", and Ankara now is in the coast. Who knows how many more mistakes are there. I also wonder why do they include names for islands as small as Guadeloupe, but not a huge city like Misk, the capital of Belarus.
