The media could not be loaded. I bought this item to rivet galvanised sheeting to the front and back of 4 x new shed doors. About 400 rivets in total, so too much for a hand riveter. I have used proper expensive (£500+) industrial air riveters before and thought at this price (£38), I would be lucky to even get the 400 rivets out of it. I have to say, I was blown away by it. Purchase of the year for me. Good quality feel and good power. Ready to go out of the box and never slipped or struggled on a single rivet! Even came with the quick release fitting ready to screw in. It will do me for many years to come. Would recommend.

I needed to hurriedly replace by old rivet gun which died. This gun, which follows the same pattern as my old one, and the Machine Mart one, is really good and works perfectly. Very positive recommendation from me.

Great product for great price

Initially I was surprised how lightweight the unit was, on dissemble to check the hydraulic level I found the piston bore to be dirty with swarf but cleaned it up.I tried 3 test rivets 3.2mm before starting the job which worked as expected.Then when pulling a 4.8mm rivet the unit exploded. As can be seen, the housing that retains the spring mechanism is made of cast alloy, this fractured under the stress, ejecting the springs, half the cast alloy block and the catchment cup over the house, had my face been over the top of the unit, it would certainly have resulted in a trip to hospital at best. I'd like to believe I was unlucky, but cant help but question why (except for cost) you'd manufacture that particular part that will repeatedly be under huge stress and impact forces from cast alloy.

Not very good quality, won’t discharge the nail correctly

Plastic body, probably ok for light occasional use.

I expect many years of service from this fantastic tool just cause it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s not quality
