It works only on a loose soil or damped soil upto an inch or so.Technically poor manufacturing engineering, Difficult to use with hand drill as its top part is coloured hence it slips through drill bit on high torque and the serrations are also very faint so does not hold with drill bit. Had purchased to dig multiple holes, but failed the expectation. Further the lower most part is rounded so after digging an inch or so it stops working because the rounded part does not dig at all, it should be tapered or triangular to generate digging force. Also when assembled on an electric drill it make an awkward angle and one can not generate pressure, and increasing the torque it starts slipping. If you are baying for digging you are dreaming.

Attached to drill, it dives in so fast that you may lose control of it, unless you are extremely careful. The negative point I personally experienced is that the drill bit get stuck deep in the earth and it is very difficult retrieve it , without a drill with reverse gear !! I would recommend it. Perfect fit into drill gun. Best for small plants. Martial, construction , packing is good and robust. Take care of Auger diameter while buying as it depends on the planting.

Not good

Used the tool on a Black & Decker battery drill. Suggest use the lowest speed 1 . For drilling do not press but can give rithmic pulsing. The helical vanes drive into the soil creating a 3" dia hole about 8" deep. Worked on red lateritc soil.If you don't have a drill ,suggest buy a DeWalt which is more powerful. Or can use a wired drill and try to drive in with lowest speed by lightly pressing trigger

It is for lose soils, which you can dig with coconut shell.This tool doesnt work for hard soils.The hex stud worn out too quick
