You will read so much about "strategic inflection point" that you will think it was the title of the book. Andrew Grove is a great story teller. This is not a boring tale about technology but surprisingly, lessons in management and leadership. Well crafted, beautifully written and really addictive. I recommend this book to anyone who would like or who has started a business. Whether you are dreaming of world dominion or simply be the market leader in your niche, ONLY THE PARANOID SURVIVE may inspire you to question your activities, actions and resolve.

If you are into this kind of things then it is a good book. There are no secrets in it but it will give you a very good understanding of what happened in the past and how things moved on.

When I was reading this book, it made me aware of just how rapidly the digital age is taking over and morphing at the least expected moments. Since reading this, I've kept my eye open for new job opportunities as 'This increased rate of change will have an impact on you, no matter what you do for a living'. Book was in an immaculate condition, well worth a read.

This book has some great insights regarding fast changing technologies and how to assess the potential of upcoming innovations.I also particularly enjoyed the section on changing direction and how to manage people when the mission of the company changes.

Great book! Incredible to think it was written almost 20 years ago and the underlying principles still stand.Really a realistic outook on business and assessing risk.
