Great AMD processor, good balance between cost, performance and heat output and 8 cores !
Great performance, low heat output so fans don't have to work hard at all. Easy to fit. Paired with Corsair CW-9060015-WW Hydro Series H75 120 mm High Performance All-in-One Liquid CPU Cooler (I was able to buy the H75 on Amazon for the same money as H65 on ebuyer!). Will try overclocking some time in the future.

A very good compromise between processing speed and power consumption
This CPU provides a very good compromise between processing speed and power consumption.It is fast enough to handle some serious gaming, and demanding applications such as video editors.The lower power consumption also means it generates less heat than the non "e" version, however I would recommend buying a better CPU cooler. The stock cooler works fine, but will spend a lot of time spinning at full speed, and so makes a fair bit of noise. I'm using a Zalman CNPS7X LED CPU Cooler.

FX8370E Processor.
Good processor, keeps nice and cool until you try to overclock.But it handles everything i throw at it.For the price it's pretty good.

this was the best CPU supported by the motherboard
In order to resurrect a 5 year old system, this was the best CPU supported by the motherboard. Compared to the FX 6100 it replaced, it was a big improvement. I set all cores to turbo speed (4.3ghz) and it handles everything I use it for without issues.It will become dated (if not already) with new upcoming AMD cpu releases in March, however it is the best available AM3+ socket chip and was the cheaper option to keep it going for another year without replacing the motherboard.

really good for the price of £140. I recommend leaving it at stock clock as it runs amazing. Just waiting for zen XD. With my 2gb 960 it can max out gta v, doom, csgo - just a really good value chip.

Bought for upgrade super CPU runs cool low voltage and easy to overclock if needed handles most tasks easily great value and son well pleased with itfor gaming.
