can you clean white shoelaces with this?

I never try to clean my shoe laces with it!! I always used a little dish liquid and rub my shoes laces in my hands and squeeze the laces with a dry clean towel

Does this work on the Upper rim of the inside of the shoes?

I haven't tried using it that way, but as long as you have enough access to the area to apply the product, it should.
