I've started using the KELO-COTE Silicone Scar Gel, 6g, and while I can't yet speak to the long-term results, my initial impressions are positive. Very good product, promotes swift healing.

I had surgery on the forehead a few weeks ago (incision of a few centimeters), and started applying the gel about 5 weeks after the surgery on the scar (nothing applied the first week, when stitches were still on, and then applied medical micropore tape for 4 weeks after the surface stitches were removed to keep the scar protected and tight/pressured).Gel seems to be making a difference, keeping the scar flatter and less red/whiter, but then it's hard to know how much is related to the scar healing itself or the result of applying the gel twice daily or the combination of both.A very small amount is required twice a day (morning and evening). If too much is put on, it will never dry, so only a very thin layer has to be applied and excess amount wiped (as per the instructions).As such, the larger size tube (15g) sold by Amazon will last many months, and the smaller tube size could be sufficient for most people with small scars.I like the fact that gel includes sun protection, as keeping the scar away from the sun for the first 6 months is important.It's a relatively expensive product (particularly considering the tube size/price per gram), but if it can make a visible scar (face) healing better and fading quicker, it's a good investment.

Bought this for my son after he had a massive heart operation, with a scar that runs all down his sternum. I had read from other people that they had developed keloid scars, that caused them further issues, it made sense to try and prevent this.The product is expensive, sure, but you have to use it spread really thinly, so a tiny tube goes a long way: In 4 months, he has used it twice a day, and he's only just finished the 1st tube!Does it work? Hard to say, such big scars take a long time to heal, so... So far, so good, the scar is as nice and healthy as anyone could hope. Fingers crossed 🤞.

Fantastic Cream was recommended by plastic surgeon had large H Flap surgery to remove tumor on forehead so had very large scar use this as recommended by surgeon and scar has really faded had so many remarks how good it looks you need to be patient and apply very small amount morning and evening and not to expect miracle's straight away l use TWO tubes

It's so so sooooo tiny not even worth the price, very disappointed
