Can the 40kg shelf actually be used as the bottom one? I'd like to place my amplifier at the bottom of the stack but it weighs around 22kg. Thanks!

Don’t think so The top shelf is a socket type connection, all the other shelves have are drilled for a through connection. All the shelves are of similar material and if the amp is on the bottom shelf the weight will better supported.

Can you provide combinations of metal tubes and 4/5 glass shelves to get height of around 110cm?
