This was the first time i purchased through amazon but have been a fan and proud consumer for years. After a few months of consistent use i noticed a considerable improvement!

My mother had both versions of macular degeneration, wet in her left eye and dry in her right eye. When she passed away, she was nearly blind. Because macular degeneration is hereditary, I have been taking eye supplements for several years. Upon seeing Ocu-Plus Formula, Complete Nutritional Support for Healthy Visual System (60 Capsules), I was excited to add the new formula to my list of supplements. I should have paid closer attention to the ingredients. There are basically the same supplements I am using now, especially in the vitamin area. In the lutein/zeaxanthin listing, there is a smaller amount! What makes it worse, the current supplement I buy at Sam's Club has more of the supplements at less than half the price! I think you can see why I am disappointed. I know there are a few other vitamins and supplements in this blend so I am using it to see if I see any improvement. I currently have a huge floater in my left eye, so I'm anxious to try anything to get rid of it! For the cost and limited vitamins and minerals, I am going to stay with my current blend. You may want to try this one and if you do, I wish you all the luck in the world with it. After all, our earth is a beautiful place to live, and being able to view it is truly a gift from God.

No results after using one bottle.

I used the entire bottle and didn't notice anything, neither positive nor negative. Money wasted in my opinion.

This is the best eye product on the market although pricey.I recently placed an order for two and received them three days before best by date.So disappointing as I am handicapped and unable to return them.

In large studies (AREDS), support was found for a blend of vitamins that can prevent macular degeneration and possibly other eye maladies. Several formulations of the useful vitamins, minerals, lutein and zeaxanthin consistent with the results of this study have been marketed by various suppliers. This is one of them although it does not specifically reference the study, possibly because they have added some other ingredients. There are uncertainties as to dosages, so different products have different amounts. This product is as good as any and has good assurance of quality (FDA registered lab and GMP certified).There are some additional matters to consider: This product is more expensive than some others from very reputable suppliers, and second the lutein component is not clearly described in the label. Finally, these vitamins are usually recommended for people as they get older rather than for everyone. Although there is no set age when the benefit may be the most, it is probably important to take these after the age of 60 years. It should also be noted that most of the ingredients are in many multivitamin products except lutein and zeaxanthin, which can be purchased separately as a supplement.

Vitamin A ,Lutein, Zeanthin, Bilberry , Rutin ; This supplement has a good cross-section of nutrients which have been shown to be beneficial for eyesight and ocular health. It contains low doses of a dozen herbal extracts and antioxidants as well as seven vitamins and minerals of the type which many us are getting in our multivitamins. Those extra vitamins give me pause, because this is not a comprehensive multivitamin but duplicates nutrients I am getting elsewhere. I would be happier with this formula if it cost less, had just the herbal extracts and antioxidants and the vitamin A ,and left out the duplicative vitamins and minerals. At $53. for a one month supply it seems too expensive .
