The Andersons Professional 10-10-10 Fertilizer with Micronutrients 2% Iron and 7% Humic (5,000 sq ft)

I used Anderson in the past, but the local store that sold it closed in 2021. Have been using big box store brands. This year I started with a big box brand, but found Andersons on Amazon. Half my yard was done with Andersons and it looks noticeable greener, thicker. This is true slow release, I will not have to fertilize again until late summer! Saving me some $. Good product.

Based on the 10-10-10 recommendation I've seen for feeding fruitless mulberry trees, I decided to try this stuff, and my mulberry seems happier this year. I'm in NM with sandy, well-drained soil, and have a layer of sun & shade turf beneath the tree. The grass is deep deep green, and thriving. I've also applied liquid trace nutrients from another brand. With the trace nutrients in this fertilizer, it seems to be a winning combo.

Right off the bat: I used this on my Banana plants and Gingers that are situated in a PITA place to maintain them... They're HEAVY feeders with with Banana tree taking 1.5lbs of 10-10-10 per month. I've been using normal old box store cheapo 8-8-8 or 13-13-13... Basically whatever is cheapest at the store is what these Bananas/gingers got due to their voracious apatite... but the issue with the cheapo fert was granual size and the ability to spread it evenly... plus the fact that some of the granuals never actually dissolved deeply bothered me.So I decided to upgrade to this product and HOLY COW what a difference in ease of application!! Seriously... this stuff has an AWESOME easy to apply consistency of finely ground cracked black pepper. This makes is as easy to apply as cracked black pepper... no joke. Sprinkle it on just like a seasoning in the kitchen. I use a hand held shaker spreader I got on here and it hold exactly 5lbs of this stuff and it took me all of 5 minutes to navigate my way to the back of my jungle and apply it all in a nearly perfectly even application.But here's the best part... what got on the plants WASHED OFF IMMEDIATELY! NO FUSS! NO WORRY! It just washed off and then as I gave the patch a quick wash down to get the fertilizer off the mulch it all disappeared right before my eyes! No more annoying granuals sitting on the nice mulch with this stuff...So after watering it in... I stepped back and realized this stuff not only washed down into the mulch, but was already dissolving and doing it's thing and the plants LOVED this stuff.Bananas are one of the only plants you can physically observe growing in real time under specific circumstances... mostly when you water and fertilize mid morning before the heat of the day. This was by far the FASTEST I've ever seen them respond to anything other than foliar urea... We are talking 15 minute response time here which means this fertilizer truly instantly dissolved making it PERFECT for Bananas and plants that require heavy watering.So... right off the bat... this stuff is worth the price simply because it applied in less than half the time and the ability to apply an almost perfectly even amount in a small/confined/miserable to work in area was phenomenal. It works just like cracked black pepper... and you could likely apply it to small potted plants with a food seasoning bottle which makes this an even more useful product.I might update this with growth results in a few weeks.... but honestly the ease of application and versatility of the product have sold me on it. I don't have any reason to doubt their composition analysis based on the physical uniformity and consistency of the bagged product... so it should do exactly what I expect... and that's exactly what you want out of a bagged fertilizer! If I don't update this... it worked as good or better than I expected.

My yard has terrible soil and it doesn’t take much to send the lawn to deaths door. HOA complained so I tried this fertilizer and in short order the lawn was green and lovely again

If you want to rest assure you're getting good turf products, get Andersons.
