Boy dose these bags work. Its Verrrry heavy duty. We vacuum our day bed mattress down to 1/3 its size. Just hope it stays vacuumed for a year?? Thanks for a great product.

I bought this to store a 75" long x 38" wide x 3" thick foam mattress topper. The product description said the bag is 86.7 " long x 39.4" wide x 4" high (thick). The description is correct if you include the "zipper" width. I was able to fit the mattress topper in and get it vacuum sealed; however, I had a bit of a time working with the edge of the topper adjacent to the zipper to fit it in and seal the bag with ease. I also had to run the vacuum over the vacuum seal for about five minutes to get the topper to the desired thickness for rolling and storing. If this bag had another 2" of width, before the zipper, it would have been perfect for this application; hence, the four-star review.

In my opinion, the best feature is the seam-closing tool. I thought snapping together the "zip-lock" along the full length of one side would be a hassle, but it turned out to be a breeze! I easily slid in my queen-size 3-inch foam mattress topper, zipped it up, and used a shop vac to vacuum out the air—no special adapters needed. Any vacuum with a hose should work.

I bought this to store a Plufl bed in. It is definitely big enough, I was able to get the Plufl in whole without taking it apart. Easy to seal with the ‘zipper’ it comes with and I was easily able to pull the air out with my standard household vacuum cleaner. However, after completely pulling the air out and storing it, I checked on it about an hour later and some of the air had been pulled back into the bag. I didn’t notice any holes or hear any ‘hissing’ of air going back in. I believe the zipper seal just wasn’t strong enough to hold such a large item. It works for now, but I will need to find a better storage bag for this item.

I’m on my second bag of the same size and once you take all the air out, they do not hold air at all within a week they release all the air they’re useless

I wanted to love this. The size is great. However the first time I used it it didn’t stay deflated. I put stuff back in and found a tiny hole in the plastic. So it either arrived broken or on first vacuum use it tore. I was really careful with this and didn’t snag anything so I don’t trust it. A shame because the size is right. Trying to fix with industrial tape because I’m past the return date.Avoid until the province patch kits and strengthen the plastic!
