Sturdy support
So bought this to avoid costly process of getting someone to come and change a rotten fence post. The fence was installed with a drive down anchor - so I couldn’t use the straight flat cheaper alternatives. The price of this isn’t amazing - but it’s cheaper than getting someone over to fix the post and the fastest way to fix the problem. One thing to note is it’s quite a task getting the reinforcement into the ground. You can’t just bash it in like instructions as no ground is ever that soft. So you have to be prepared to dig down 40cm. I’d recommend getting some digging gloves for that. I only had my normal hand and a knife to dislodge soil. Next the steel once driven in didn’t perfect go against the fence post - so I added some extra wooden brackets which is fine, you can’t see in image but space was tight in my case as had concrete slab right in front of fence post. Overall though I’m of the conclusion this was the most cost effective fix and the fence is super sturdy now.

Cheap crap, not fit for purpose
Don't buy this, it's a cheap bit of poorly made crap. I hammered the spiked end into the ground successfully, but when I applied the slightest amount of pressure with my fingers to the top part which bolts to the fence post the welds at the bottom of the triangular strengthening plates failed. Looks like they were done with a soldering iron! Had to give it 1 star to submit the review but should be zero
