Winsor & Newton A5 Extra Smooth Bristol Board Gummed Pad

I use this card for my hand drawn and painted (acrylic) greeting cards, It is smooth and beautiful to use.

I had drawn a tree in my sketchbook, and my wife liked it so much she asked me to do a copy that she could frame. I wanted smoother paper than my sketch book, so I ordered this pad of Bristol Board. It is an excellent surface for my pencil sketching and I was able to produce exactly the result I wanted. My wife was happy with the copy, as well!

I have recently taken up drawing again after 20 something years. I have my sketch pads but people have been commissioning me to draw their pets and portraits of loved ones, so I purchased these pads to give a better quality for the drawings. The Bristol board is fantastic and takes the pencil lead really well. It is nice to work on and my customers have been very happy with the results.

This pack of Bristol Board arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition.I use Frisk paper often and am very pleased with the quality.Bristol Board is perfect for manga style sketching, anything requiring a smooth flat surface. I sketch a lot of crows using various media, and get a very good result when working on this paper.It isn't ideal for much wet work, but definitely recommend for ink and pens.Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

I use this for technical illustration which requires high levels of precision using very thin pens. This is an absolute delight. I also experimented using this for lino printing and it was perfect for that too

Excellent paper. I love drawing on Bristol Board it's lovely. I would recommend always using Bristol Board it is an amazing drawing surface.
