My second Berny watch and I’m equally satisfied. This has the classic ‘Mondaine’ look and is very clear under most conditions. The watch features a full face luminosity, which does work when fully charged but honestly not as easy to see the time as regular digit luminosity.The strap is a Milanese type so adjusting is easy without the need for removing links etc. water resistance is rated at 50m, a date complication included. The weight feels quality which was a plus as I imagined it to be lighter not being a diver watch etc.Longevity is yet to be tested of course, but other than that, it’s a 5 from me.

Good looking watch, I like that you don’t have to wind it up or put batteries in. Keeps good time and is accurate

This was a present for my Dad - which he chose himself. He is very happy with it and wears it regularly. Looks as described, good quality piece.

On the surface, this is a nice watch with a Japanese movement. It is a fraction of the price of the similar Swiss railways modelled Mondane which sells for around £200 on Amazon. But buy the watch, take it out of the box and a whole new impression is created. The watch face is nice, not white like the Mondane model, but they state this in the ad. It looks yellowish in daylight.I discovered it on day one today trying it out. And I returned it after trying it for around two hours.Put it on and you'll quickly realise why it is cheap versus the Mondane model. It shows its "Made in China" heritage of cheap and nasty. It is let down by the bracelet, specifically the awful "double lock" clasp.The clasp does not click into place. It is flimsy and came undone on day one of wearing the watch. I had to stop the watch from sliding off my wrist!A watch that is not securely fastened on your wrist is a total and utter waste of time. There is no reassuring click because the clasp engagement lug is straight and not curved to engage and click into place. Absolute rubbish.Amazon is the market seller. I asked for a replacement suspecting I may just have had a bad example. But they refused to replace it or exchange it. They offered a refund, suggesting I could then re-order it. But I bought it during the Prime Deal sale last week. The refund saved me £22 ((£87.99). It is now back at the usual price of £109.99.I would have tried a free exchange replacement and then gone for a replacement if that was also as bad. But I will not buy at £109.99 to find the same cr4p quality at £109.99.Amazon let me down for sure. They need to be able to offer a free exchange replacement if the customer is willing to accept it (as I was). No. Stubborn, call it pig-headed, they only could offer a refund and return the item.AVOID buying this watch. Despite all the strong reviews, I based my purchase decision on, they must be very inaccurate in their assessments. It is cheap for a reason. The bracelet quality is cr4p. The alternative is leather strap, but at this price point, I wonder if it is real leather or faux (fake) leather.

Bought as gift, recipient is well pleased with it.
