Q: What is the actual material? What's printed on the actual underwear does not match the listing.

There are 3 different set with same type of material. Red, Blue, and Black. One of each color is printed and are not the exact fabric as 92% polyester and 8% spandex. The Print reads "The brand with three stripes". These are the ones I own and you can see the difference in stitching. When you view these colors your are reading them right. The packing also says mesh performance underwear. You don't tell what size you were viewing. I looked at XXL and they are marked as 98% polyester and 2% spandex. So in this size I can't tell you which is one right or wrong. However Small-XL is correct and matched what I saw on my medium size packaging. The difference is the added 3% Natural rubber and 2% nylon. 2% spandex and the rest is polyester.
