Love this book. Lots of great, understandable info on digital art and procreate.

This book is SO well thought out and well written. The layout helped me figure out the basics (which I skipped before) and lead to better art. My kids love it too! I keep this next to my iPad as a guide. Thank you!

I'm a 5/6 grade art teacher and I've been learning and teaching Procreate for a few years! My fifth graders who have gotten their first taste of this app are so excited that their parents are asking me what exactly to buy their kid for Christmas. This is a book I would highly recommend!

I have been following Lisa Bardot for years now. The moment my ipad was in my hands and after downloading procreate, I started stalking youtube for someone to teach me the ways. I came across Lisa and was impressed with her perky personality and her positive attitude made learning exciting.When I found out she was creating a book, I pre ordered it. Then I canceled it. I thought, why am I such a sucker to buy things from procreate influencers. The book haunted me for days. Always showing up in my Amazon "suggestions". Finally, I bought it. When I saw inside, I ordered two more. I have family members who are learning Procreate and drawing on the ipad and this is perfect! You wont be disappointed. What I loved most about this book is how many pictures and examples are in the book. Loaded with lots and lots of information.I love it!!!

From the physical construction of this book to the wealth of content inside, it’s clear that it was made with a lot of love! As someone who has tried getting into digital art many times, I feel like the simple tutorials and explanations outlined in this book will be key to finally making this digital art journey stick.

This book is so awesome! My only disappointment is that I waited to long to buy it! I received this book a few days ago and have dug right in and am reading it cover to cover! The pictures are beautiful and it is written so clearly! The projects in each section are so great and really help you to understand the tools/technique that Lisa is teaching. Seriously this book is incredible and I’m so happy I bought it!

This book is very basic. I thought it would be all about how to draw digitally but a lot of it is more like how to draw in general, whether it is with Procreate or not, with very very simple shapes and ideas taking up the majority of the book. So if you are a complete beginner, go for it. If you have any digital or art experience at all, it's not very helpful. I took away maybe 2 new things. I wanted to support her because I like her Instagram but I wish this book had more heft.

I have ordered a few books about using Procreate and have gotten lost by the end of the first chapter. I resorted to YouTube videos and discovered Lisa Bardot. I had to watch on my computer while following along on my iPad with lots of pauses so I could catch up, but the information was presented clearly and Lisa was an entertaining teacher. When this book came out, I grabbed it. It’s step-by-step and provides fun projects that both teach you to draw and how to use Procreate. I feel so much more proficient now. It’s well worth the money. I would recommend the print book - I buy lots of digital books, but can’t imagine this one being easy to use in digital format.
