I haven't skated in quite a while, but I'll never stop buying these shoes. I've been buying these exact same shoes for the last 10 years. I cant find another shoe that I'd wear every single day that i like more.They look awesome, they're comfy (after you wear them in), they feel premium, and last a long time.I buy a new pair roughly once every 2 years, that that's daily use. The inside of the heel area gets a bit ripped with the stuffing coming out a little, but it doesn't make them any less comfortable of painful to wear, and aside from that, I cant really fault them.They're a little stiff when you first get them, so need to wear them in for a couple days but after that, they're great.If they ever stop selling these, I would buy the next 20 years worth in one go.

Had a pair of these getting on for about 8 years old and as they were just showing signs of wear and tear thought I would treat myself to some new trainers. Spent ages deciding what to get and looked at loads of others. Then it dawned on me, just get a replacement pair of these. I love the fact that they look so " normal". No ridiculous bright colours/patterns. No fancy air/shock absorber soles. Not endorsed by some over paid sports star. These are just so sturdy and comfortable and, in my opinion, because they don't look flashy and shout "look at me everybody" it really ironically gives them such an edge in the "pretty cool trainers" category. Would not hesitate to recommend these trainers to anybody. For the cost these really are top quality and will last you years.

These are great trainers. I have always been a committed Vans man but these were brought to my attention and they are fantastic. Comfy, lovely looking. Now what I will say is that I am a size 10. Never had to order any other size, I ordered these in 10 and they went straight back and now have a 10.5. Order a half size up.

Update - both shoes have failed on the sole where there is the circular logo - this has pushed through making them unusable as it digs into the foot and lets water in. Sole looks like new otherwise. Very poor quality, would never buy again.Decent pair of budget retro skate shoes, bought to replace my ten yr old Airwalks as there was nothing left to glue the sole onto any more. The synthetic uppers are stiffer than real leather and need some breaking in but overall after walking a few miles they seem very comfortable. I'm a UK 10.5 and the UK 11 fit perfectly. I bought the same shoes for a friend six months ago and they are really happy with them, time will tell for me.

I had a previous pair the same. They were fantastic, and lasted me years. So when they finally wore out I got this pair. I’ve had these close to 3 years and they are still in excellent condition and very comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. The black Etnies have a suede leather finish with lacings for about 3/4 of the shoe. Fit is snug with no requirement to wear in the shoe - no hard spots or rubbing on the heel. The laces are flat with a slight elastic feel providing a firm fit to your foot. The sole is grippy rubber - I tried on wet patio boards with no slipping at all. The shoe sides and back offer great protection as they have reassured stiffness.
