Battery doesn’t charge up
The battery on the machine doesn’t charge up. The indicator light doesn’t turn on. The machine works while plugged In but without the indicator light working, it makes the machine difficult to use. Customer service is not great as well.(Update) got a second machine and still have not received the refund for the first machine. The second machines battery doesn’t work as well. But the red indicator light does turn on.

Love it! But order direct from their website
I love this thing. Only thing I wish it had was a remote. Also the description on Amazon is very vague of what you're getting. I got mine and it didn't have a battery. I assumed it would and the description said it would. I returned and just bought from their website direct that offers free shipping.

Kids are having so much fun they have no idea how many extra reps they are getting.
I have two boys playing 11u and 14u. This was a joint birthday gift for them. The next day I was away from work and they set it up themselves and used it for a couple of hours. We've used it for hitting, fly balls (with attachment ramp) and catching using the small web glove. They have had no complaints and when the hopper is holding 96 balls they are refilling it multiple times a night getting over 200 reps each on the various drills and hitting sessions. Hoping this machine holds out and we expect to move it to the basement in the winter time. As far as the machines performance, they provide a chart showing the anticipated speeds based on the machine setting and the distance from the plate. Balls come out consistent and at the interval you determine. In the first couple of weeks this seems to be a wise investment.

Definitely an Asset
I’ll post pictures later, but first couple of session with the kids yielded dividends out on the field. My kids need reps. This machine allows me to provide them the practice they need away from their team practice environment. By the time they do BP with their team, the baseballs look like watermelons. Definitely an integral part of our gear, now, and they say they thoroughly enjoy it. After finishing a bucket of 96 balls, they literally asked for 2 more! Very adjustable, too, which is quite nice. Won’t need to pay for batting cage pitching machines at the local go kart track ever again.

No power, big disappointment
The media could not be loaded. Got it, attached a regular camera tripod… easy day. Went to power it on and it only turned on in setting 1 for <1 min. It stopped working, the power supply box started making an uncomfortable static sound that got louder the more we turned the dial to fast (we were trying to figure out why it wasn't doing anything so we turned a couple dials). Machine wasnt moving any parts at all, it was plugged in and “on”. Power adapter making noise. I really wanted to test it out. Extremely bummed, son’s team made it to states and he’s their power hitter. Wanted to get some reps in but that wont happen with this machine. Im not spending another $30 for a power adapter when the one it came with should’ve worked. Really disappointed.

High Quality Machine with matching custmer service
What a versatile unit, we train softball and baseball at all levels. Maxbp travels well and is lite, having the carrying bag is helpful, throw it over your shoulder no problem. The battery pack pushes power while MaxBp is throwing a full progression of slow to turbo. Great for training grounders, slow rollers and short hops. We had a few questions and the customer service is 5 diamond, very reassuring to know we are part of the MaxBp team. Side notes the wiffle balls get dirty so we clean them also keep the holding bay empty when traveling. My new best friend is a robot.

Fun and useful machine, but way overpriced for what it is.
This machine is a lot of fun and does everything it says it does. My only gripe is that it is way overpriced for what it is. The bucket feels like cheap plastic and the connection to the tripod was not very secure (we had to put some duct tape around the edge to make the connection a little more secure). I also hate that they nickel and dime you with the external battery (an extra $100) and other attachments, like the pop fly attachment. It’s a simple piece of plastic that has a bolt and wing nut to attach it to the machine, but it costs $40! I bought the MaxBP original over the personal pitcher, which is way more reasonably priced at half the price including the battery, because I was last minute Christmas shopping and was able to get the MaxBP delivered on time. I’ve consoled myself that the MaxBP does have a larger hopper, holding almost twice as many balls as the personal pitcher to cut down on the time it takes to pick up balls, but I’m not sure that makes it worth the extra $300 you’ll end up paying if you want the battery.
