Tasty, affordable, value for money.
Probably the best tasting chicken noodles I've come across. Used to see this at the local Asian store but never bothered to try them. Having grown fed up with supermarket chicken noodles that are tasteless and limp, decided to give this a go and was pleasantly surprised. It comes with 3 small packets: the seasoning, the chili powder and some vegetable oil. You put everything into a bowl, with some leftover shredded roast chicken if you have any, pour just boiled H20, wait 5 mins then you have the makings of a simple lunch or quick snack. I normally chuck half a salad bag (can't be asked to chop anything - this is, after all, meant to be a quick fix, no hassle, no prep meal) after the soaking time so the veg stays nice and crisp to eat. The broth is really flavourful, with a hint of garlic (you can actually see tiny bits of garlic floating around in the soup). The chili is really just a pinchful and provides just enough spice to leave a mild tingle on your tongue (I don't like super spicy food but I still chucked in all the chili powder and didn't get my head blown off afterwards). The noodles retain just enough bite after a 4 - 4 1/2 minute soaking in 320ml of just boiled water - any longer and they would probably get too soft, mushy and unpleasant to eat. This was a bulk purchase so you get 30 noodle packs. That might seem like a lot, I did wonder how I'd get through all these noodles before their expiry date (Nov 2015) having just bought them June 2015. But if you eat them 2x a week, then that's 8 noodles for 4 weeks and the whole 30 gone in just under 4 months. Obviously, if you ate one everyday, then the whole lot would be gone in a month. Anyhow, these were really good and I would not hesitate to buy again.

Expensive But Tasty
These are very small, and rather expensive in my opinion (I just don't think instant noodles should be pricey). However, they are well flavoured compared to many other brands, so they make a nice snack.Just don't expect to feel full after.

Wonderful rich chicken flavored noodles
Our Yum Yum noodles addiction started with this one.It has a wonderfully rich chicken flavor and you can add garlic oil (strong! but so delicious) and some sort of chili powder. Both these additions come individually packed so you don't have to add them if you don't want. They are realy good value for money, working out at about 23p a packet, but I'd say a full lunch is 2 packets. My partner eats 3 at a time when he's hungry, but he's a big boy.Side note: Yum Yum wants these noodles to be true instant noodles, i.e. prepared by pouring hot water over them and letting them sit for 3 minutes. My advice: don't. Boil them on the hob for anywhere between 3 and 7 minutes depending on your taste. Results in a far better broth and less spongy noodles.

Cheap n cheerful but could do with more seasoning
For the cost of having 30 packs delivered it's worth it. However, I find that the flavour is pretty weak. I do make my own ramen seasoning so that's not much of an issue. I do like that the noodles really do hold their shape and remain firm and have a nice chewy texture. Ignore the instructions and simmer for 4 minutes on the hob covered. Good enough for a quick snack or as noodles that are part of another dish.

An Experience Like No Other
Okay, so you're probably debating buying this product. I'll admit that there is a lot of it once you actually have it. But don't be afraid. I was a non-believer too, once...After what I can only describe as one of the more obscure midnight purchases of my life, I woke up and realised that a 30 pack of chicken ramen was to be expected at my doorstop by Thursday. "Good lord!" I said aloud. And the hardest thing about my ordeal was the waiting. Minutes stretched into hours which elongated into days which contorted into a week. I drove myself mad by Thursday. But then it came. A knock.I raced to open the latch, barely dressed and barely awake. As I swung the door nearly off it's hinges, the first thing that caught my eye was the size. It was a behemoth package. Greater than I could ever imagine. I took it, and in doing so l made sure none of my neighbours saw me (who knows what outbreak would become of the truth arising?). After taking it in and carefully opening the box, I took a packet from it's allotted order and followed the instructions to the letter. But the hardest part, as i've said before, is waiting. Three minutes was enough time to boil the noodles successfully but for me those three minutes were an endless chaos where time didn't exist, and matter was devoid of ramen, as well as hope. But then the timer stopped. The timer stopped! Dragging myself by my weary knees I grabbed the nearest fork and simply lifted a few strands to my mouth. This was it. What I'd been waiting for. I let the steam waft through the kitchen and create an ambience; Like I was actually there in the Japanese marketplace, with the bustling of crowds, the old shopkeepers and the young loiterers, the tourists trying to capture the aura of the place. What came next, I will never forget. The ramen, my friends, was fantastic. Nay, exceeded every expectation I had. Sure I harboured doubts... doubts I could never let out, not even to my closest friends or relatives... But it doesn't matter anymore. I've submitted. My only advice to those who haven't sampled this fine and elegant food is this:Never give up. It is always darkest before the dawn. And drive safe.
