Q: Will this work on checking human temperature?

This will measure most surface temperatures (glass more challenging). So it can measure skin temperature if you do it safely (keep away from eyes etc.) You would just need to calibrate it in some way to ensure you are measuring temperatures accurately, but if comparing different people you will quickly identify who has a higher temperature if you are consistent in the way you measure it.
