Does not fit all advertised models
It says in the product description that it will replace the chuck on a dcd999. That is an incorrect statement, the advertised chuck has smaller threads and a smaller hole for the drive shaft.Needless to say, I’m going to try to return it and find one that will actually fit.

I bought this to replace the chuck on my DCD998 and found that the shaft doesn't go into the chuck...
