Great wee toasting plate. Handle stays cool and toasts fast. So handy for my boys for fast toast and saves space in the van

A bit slow and you have to moveit around to avoid local black spots.

Great toaster we use it in our caravan where grill is a bit useless. Use on the smallest ring for best results. 2slices done. easily use tongs to turn toast

Looking at the reviews for this item I was a little skeptical, but having used it in my camping stove multiple times now I can't see why people have problems with it. Put it on firstly to warm up on a medium heat, then add your toasting food of choice, lower the flame to a moderate level, keep an eye on it and rotate the food often to get an even toast.I wouldn't recommend using this on full power or on a stove like a jet boil, this is a lightweight cooking device, if you use a flame thrower on it, it's bound to fail, but if you treat it with care and attention it's a nifty little device. I didn't need to use gloves but I would suggest some may need to or get one of those silicon handle grips, also a pair of tongues so you don't burn your pinkies. All in all, it works, it's cheap, basic, effective and if looked after will no doubt last for years. 👍
