I'll update AFTER I see how good this is
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a window film to darken my rooms, instead I found this.Plus I'm upstairs, I don't mind the heat. I just wanted to be able to see out my windows.I read the reviews, I was scared cuz I'm the ONLY person doing this. I'm seriously proud of myself over this 😊I suppose 2 people would be ok, it's just me. So I HAVE no choice but to do it myself, I thought this through many times. Had this all figured out how I was gonna do it, till I put the film up against the window to see how it fit. To my surprise, it fit good & my plan would work.I ey the window down like I was suppose to, I peeled the clear plastic away & it stuck. ..... Like that's it, I had to peel it away(which is the HARDEST) part. Once I figured out how to do this, which.... Is easy, I was good.Wet down the window, till water is running down the window. Then carefully put the film on it, y'all don't need 2 people. There will be bubbles, don't worry bout them. Make sure it fits the way y'all want it to, then cut the film of the roll ....... Yes, I left mine in the roll to see how it fit. It worked great, my ONLY complaint is there isn't enough on that roll to do ALL my windows. I got 1 frame done, I had to order 5 more rolls for my other windows. That's ok, I'm gonna see this afternoon how good this stuff is. I'm out proud of myself for doing things that according to society "y'all need a guy in y'all life" no I don't. I can do this ALL by myself, I've been self sufficient since I was a kid. I'm 53, I did the exact opposite of what every review said to do.I'm not a perfectionist, I'm germophic. I will make sure no bubbles are left by the end of the day. I'm pretty happy with this, so far 😊 by the by, I live in Oklahoma where it's 110 out right now. So if this helps with keeping my upstairs unit cool & runs my air less (which is set to 80) then I'll be happy.UPDATE:::::::::I went through & fixed them so they don't over lap, it wasn't that bad. It took me a minute, but y'all can still do this even with 1 person.I'm no where near perfectionist, if y'all get the window wet enough (good luck on this, as y'all are spraying it's drying 🤦 it can be done. Maybe NOT in 110 heat) I got them done, I'll tape the corners down cuz that's what it is driving me crazy. Even on the 1s I didn't redo, that's ok. I'll tape them down, other then that...... The sun is on me yet I don't feel the heat, I like being able to see outside.I like that my air isn't running constantly. This was worth the price, I got it on sale plus click the 6% discount & it was only $9.99......a roll, that's not bad. I got 5 more rolls, so I have extra.I'm working on getting an ESA & service dog, I'll see next year how they handle this. If need be I'll UPDATE on that too. 😊I will buy again if I need more

Total darkness
I work until 1 am so don't usually get to sleep until after 2. By 5 it's getting light out. Even with blackout curtains, it's light in my bedroom. This was a challenge to put up by myself but oh my was it worth it! Looks good from outside and pitch black inside. I'm recommending this to everyone I know.

Makes your room darker, but also hotter. I tore them off after 2 days.
Don't waste your money. The film absorbs all of the light they're blocking from your room. Unfortunately, because the film is applied to the inside of the window, all that heat that's absorbed is then radiated into the room. The windows are so hot they nearly burn my hand. And even after the sun goes down, they're still hot, still radiating heat. With our air conditioner running on a 95° day, it used to get down to about 75° in our living room (the room where we add these window films) After adding the window films, it's 77° in our living room. And worse, it doesn't cool down as quickly after the sun sets. So they're claim that these help to cool rooms is categorically false. I'd even go as far as the way a blatant lie. It's intentional false advertising. If all you're looking for is privacy and you're not worried about cooling your home, then they're more or less fine, but don't look that great.

1/2” wider than what we ordered
This film is great. However, we ordered because the width was perfect to our window. That meant we would only have to cut length. Our glass is 31.5” wide. The label on the tint says 31.5” wide. However, it measures 32”. We purchased the exact tint for our doors and it makes a huge difference in the temperature of our home! Easy to install when you follow the directions! No bubbles at all! It looks amazing!

I did it twice so you don’t have to — what to and not to do
It works but by far the hardest installation of window film I’ve done. It works if you know what to do.- ITS STICKY like VERY sticky. It will stick to itself and anything else and crinkle and you can’t get the crinkles out.- The instructions say to pull off the protective film and then spray it with soapy water. PEEL AND SPRAY AT THE SAME TIME. The second you spray it, it won’t stick to itself anymore and makes it so much easier to apply (and move if you’re like me and realize you didn’t line it up correctly the first time you placed it.)- It comes with a squeegee. Get a better one. It works but not well - you could get much better quality ones that help more.- You can do this without anyone else… but if you have someone to help make them help. Results in pictures — before I learned everything vs after. If you make the same mistakes I did, it still works but doesn’t look as nice. I have to order another roll to fix it (otherwise my cats will tear it apart.)

it was what i needed
i had been looking for a solution for some time that would allow me to have privacy at home without having to resort to heavy curtains that block the light. this privacy window film was exactly what i needs.installations was surprisingly easy. all i needed was a bottle of soapy water, a spatula and a few minutes of patience. the film adheres very well and does not leave bubbles if placed carefully.

Total blackout. Great product
Night shift worker here. This works surprisingly well, especially for the price. I have used many different methods to "black out" my bedroom. This was by far the cheapest and most effective.

See through 1 way film
This product claims to be “one way” and it is NOT!! I tested both during the day and at night (both with the lights on and off inside) and all 3 times we were able to see the inside. Definitely won’t buy again.
