Perfect fit for our Ashley recliner.Probably took me about 30 minutes to change it out with the broken piece once I figured out which tools I needed. Needle nose pliers and phillips screwdriver.

This was the second part I ordered to repair one of the reclining sides of my sectional & it works perfectly! The first one did not fit...it's kind of hard to tell. So glad I studied a bit more, had my whule family look at it (LOL) & ordered this one. My 16 year old grandson, who likes fixing things and earning extra money, watched a couple of You Tube videos before he installed this in less than an hour. Certainly cost less than buying a new sectional! And it comes 2 to an order, so I have another one in case a different reclining seat breaks!

Installed this on my couch yesterday. Wasn't very difficult, but the handle did not fit in my couch so I had to take it apart and just use the wire. Not sure if it's my fault that I bought the wrong one because I assumed they were universal. My couch reclines now and that's all I really cared about.

Easy repair!
Pretty easy to replace. It took me about 30 minutes. That includes 10 minutes looking to see how the cable was routed. The hardest part was removing the plastic wire clip from the frame.
