My sister, brother in law, and I split the cost of this for our dogs, and it’s been so useful! Especially since it came with two doors, so we truly could split it and each get full intended use.My main intention for buying this was for our week long vacation which would be at a new house. The front door doesn’t have a secondary door to it (like a screen or glass door in addition to the wooden one), so for extra security I planned to set up a gate around it, so we could get in and out, while minimizing the risk of the dogs escaping. I also intended to set up a pen outside since the new house is right along a busy road, but they turned the lawn into a low-maintenance wildflower and weed growth - so that didn’t quite work out. However my sister and brother in law did take some of the panels and one of the doors on a different vacation for an indoor pen. So we’ve definitely gotten some good use out of all of the panels already in a two month time span.The panels are easy to set up - especially if you have two people, however with some finesse you can set it up by yourself. As you’re putting the panels together pay attention to the alignment of the slots for the stake - one side of each panel has higher slots, the other side has lower slots, so the panels will be level. I included a picture kind of showing what I mean.

We are keeping a small dog for our elderly neighbor who is recovering from a heart attack and were in need of some type of temporary fence for our backyard. I ordered the 16 panel package, way more than we needed, but we are using some of the panels across the front of our deck as well. Super easy to put together, there are no written instructions, just pictures, and honestly it took us a couple of tries before we realized that the small metal tubes on the sides, the ones the rods go through, are set at different levels on each side of the panel. Daa. If you grab 2 panels to put them together, and the tubes are the same height, flip the panel around---then it goes together the right way. I'm pretty happy with this purchase, and if we end up with the little guy permanently, we'll have a nice enclosure to take camping with us. Really worth the money.

I have fenced my entire porch with the 32 inch high set. I have had them for over 3 years, and they still look like new.I also had two 8 panel sets outside for my very hyper puppy who loved to be outside. There were windy days and powerful storms, but my fencing didn't come apart because of the deep stakes provided. The set was out in the elements for six months, and rusted only in a spot or two where there was standing water .I took 8 panels of the set inside, and used them for a playpen during the winter for that hyper little puppy. They DO NOT scratch vinyl plank flooring.These are are very portable, and fit in the trunk of my car. When I go out of state to visit my daughter, I take 6 panels to make a doggie playpen. I know campers that do the same.I recently decided to get a higher set for my porch, and install a privacy screen, which also provides shade in the closed off area where my dogs play.I bougt the 47 " set, and it worked great! It seems they are a little more lightweight than my 32 inch set. I switched to black, and I like that color better.I just ordered another set of 8! ( And in 2 weeks, I can afford another set. So gradually, I can get my entire long porch fenced and screened.)

This gate is exactly as pictured with good quality metal. I don't know how durable the stakes are in the grass since this gate was meant for an indoor pen. What I do not love is that the panels are loosely held together with no locking mechanism to keep them from hinging after the lightest touch. I use this pen on hardwood floors so this thing is sliding and scratching all over the place. I wish it came with support feet or silicone grips or anything really to keep it from swinging everywhere. Its the perfect size for a small dog but anything larger thank a Yorkie or Maltese will need something much bigger.

We use this camping every time we go for the dogs. Nice thing is you can buy more and expand to make it bigger. Doesn’t have to be set up in a circle. We do squares and rectangles to the length of the camper. Open the door and out they go and no worries about them taking off. It’s like letting them out back in a fenced yard. Easy to set up and tear down or just fold up.
