I use these for long flights of if I need to sit for hours. The zipper works well and really aids on putting them on. I got a large size, so they are not hard to put on or take off. I am short, so they are long but okay. They are comfortable yet hold those varicose veins. I have had them for several years and they are holding up for occasional wear.

I'm wearing these after a total knee replacement. The compression hose supplied by the hospital were awful. They cut and caused bruises at the thigh, and they were very painful to put on a post-surgical, bruised limb.The zipper feature makes all the difference! If the pressure is too painful, I can partially unzip for a few minutes and then easily zip back up again. Taking them off and on for bathing is painless. YMMV, but these fit me perfectly.

Yes, compression stockings are supposed to be tight but I couldn't even zip them past my knee. XL ordered - I am 155lbs

This is a good product. I am recovering from knee surgery and was told to keep my leg wrapped tight with an Ace bandage to control swelling. That turned out to be harder than it sounds because the bandage got loose and kept sliding down. I saw this compression legging and tried it out and overall I'm happy with it.I read some people said it was too small for their thigh or too loose. It fit my swollen thigh very well. It fit my entire leg tightly, but not too tight, just right to prevent swelling. The zipper didn't leave a mark on my leg but other people said it did on theirs. It really depends on just how big your leg is. The open toe design is the best way to go because your toes stick out and you have some traction and also your foot will fit in the sock no matter how big your foot is.What I have to point out though is that it takes two people to get it on and zipped up. My wife has been doing it for me but if you are alone you need to think about this. It's very difficult to pull both sides of the opening together and pull the zipper at the same time. If it was easy then it wouldn't provide compression.I don't know this, but my guess is that for a single person it might be easier to get a non-zippered version and just pull it on like a compression sock. That would still be difficult but it could probably be done if you can bend your knee. Otherwise your only option is to use an Ace bandage after all.Under my particular circumstances I would buy this again.

I really wanted to love these stockings. Upon receipt I noticed the vacuum seal package they were in had been sliced open and taped up. Upon removing the stockings from the packaging there was human hair /pet hair in the stockings and a powerful smell of sweat/ body odor/ cigarette on the stockings as well as visible WEAR/ grime. I put the stockings in the washer so that I could hygienically try them on to determine if I wanted replacement or refund. Compression offered is minimal and primarily in the ankle area clearly not any where near the 20-30 I am prescribed to wear and is significantly less supportive of all of my other 20-30 compression hosiery. The zipper feature seems handy and so long as you are careful and doesn’t seem to be as difficult as some of the other reviews indicate. The stocking itself barely comes up to mid-thigh. I am used to it being about 1.5” higher on the thigh however this stocking doesn’t seem as prone to rolling/ shifting. The material also seems a bit more durable to snags/runs.

Overall this product would be useful if the inside of the tops would have a wider gripping sticker area. I put these on and they fit like they are supposed to. But after walking only 10ft the tops rolled over.
