The only drawback is that the knockouts won't fit a 3/4 liquid tight electrical conduit, I had to take a half round file and slightly enlarge the hole. Not a big deal, and it worked great. There was plenty of room.I read in another review where someone had gotten the clamp on the plug misaligned and couldn't get it straightened out. That could be a problem with this type connection, just the nature of the beast. Just be caeful when inserting the wire and if it doesn't look lined up, pull the wire out and make sure the clamp in the plug is lined up correctly. Great plug, easy to use. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

This thing is quality built. Has better sealing than one I paid for at twice the price from HomeDepot. The edges are rounded and over hang generously to keep rain out the plug inlet has a seal that seats on your generator cord plug to seal water and moisture out. The box itself is heavy gauge steel and the plug cover is heavy duty pvc material with a neoprene seal and solid spring tension to hold it in place. Definitely worth the money.

I received and installed this box yesterday. It appears to be a high quality product with a good finish. Two issues that the buyer needs to be aware of before ordering. The removable plugs are a quality product and should preclude water intrusion. The holes are not large to allow installation of a 1" PVC male fitting. Easily rectified with a little Dremel work. The second issue is the area for wiring behind the plug. I installed three 6 AWG wires and had a devil of a time getting the cover screwed back in place. 6 AWG does not bend easily and the space was really tight. Perhaps a little manipulation to install bends in the wire would have made installation easier, but I got it done anyway. Just be aware that it is a little bit hard to close.
