MCN-300 Lead Free Liquid Tin Solder Paste BGA SMD SMT Sn63/Pb37.

Works as expected but described as 'Lead Free' when it is, in fact, lead based. (63% Tin, 37% Lead). It is also a thick gloopy paste and in no way resembles "liquid".Arrived quickly.Just beware that the pot is only about an inch high, I thought the pot would be much bigger when judging the picture on the listing. To be fair I did not look very hard for the quantity (however, it is not stated on the listing).If using this for freehand SMD soldering / hot air reworking and if you are a beginner (like me) then do consider a Syringe dispenser over this jar unless you plan on using stencils. The paste is very sticky so it is quite difficult to extract a small enough quantity to put on the pads (the paste sticks to tools and the tool used to scrape off the first tool) - a syringe dispenser would be easier for this.

I bought this as i had run out of solder paste, this arrived within 24 hours of purchase and item was perfect allowing me to get back to work, a very happy customer. (will recommend)

Do not buy . it has a shelf life of a year but only had 3 weeks left... As good as usless

I purchased the paste for soldering very small surface mount components and micro controllers. It gets the job done however you have to be careful how much of the paste you apply.Would recommend that you buy some syringes to apply this as it makes it much easier.Note: This item should be stored in a fridge to make it last as long as possible.
