Decent collapsable stand
I went back and forth trying to decide between this and a Manhasset stand. The latter being the standard USA-made heavy duty, likely lasts forever, and weighs a lot (but is not collapsable). I went with the Vekkia because its can be taken apart and put in a bag, and am happy I did- it is a surprisingly nice music stand, especially for the cost. The assembly including two piece shelf are sturdy and adjustments are easy. It can easily support a Fake Book which is ~ 2 inches thick. The little springy page holders are kind of light duty compared to the rest of the unit but they do work. The carrying bag I received is still off-gassing from manufacturing but that usually goes away after time. Overall, I think this is a good value and will serve my needs well, which included a stand that could be collapsed and bagged while being substantial enough when assembled.

Perfect for standing gigs
The whole reason I bought this stand was to be able to play music at standing gigs without having to hunch over to see the music. This stand knocks it out of the park, I don't even have to put it all the way up to see comfortably. The only drawback is that the music desk is 2 pieces, great for compact storage but not so great for a quick setup.

This Vekkia Professional Portable Sheet Music Stand is a must-have for any musician. The stand is made of durable metal and has a powder-coated finish that is resistant to scratches and dents. The height of the stand is adjustable, so you can find the perfect position for your music. The stand folds up for easy storage and transport. It comes with a carrying bag for added convenience. Here’s some additional design details not in the description.
Rather than an additional sleeve and tensioner, the additional height on the tall model is an extension of the top tube that screws into it. This adds a step for portability, and means you can’t go from max height to minimum height without disassembly, but it may be more durable in the long run if you don’t need portability or constant extremes in adjustability. It may even be taller than the advertised height. I like that the adjustable posts have “max height” lines to help you avoid pulling it apart while adjusting.I generally don’t like two-piece top holder design, but it feels reasonably sturdy put together. The top half of the holder is certainly more flexible than the lower half and more flexible than I’d like. You can likely get a substantial quality increase by purchasing a stand just $10-20 more.

Nice stand to hold star charts
Perfect item to hold my astronomy charts while I'm at the eyepiece of my telescope. Bought at the suggestion of a friend. Very sturdy.

QUALITY!!
Very well made. Perfect fit and finish. Well worth the slightly higher cost for a quality product that will last a lifetime. A couple reviewers complained that the plastic connectors cracked, I am sure it was because they were over tightened way beyond what was necessary, DUH! The connectors in fact appear to be a very strong ABS Resin Plastic that prevent the poles from being scratched every time the height is adjusted. Also love that it can be adjusted up to 70 inches. Multiple height adjustments from sitting to standing. Sturdy and stable too. Highly recommend!
