I usually don’t write lengthy reviews but this dryer vent hose was well worth the time for me to do this review. This dryer vent hose is an excellent fit and purchase. I would be it again. I was going to pay a handyman to connect this dryer hose but thought I would give it a try. I purchased the 6-ft hose and I like the accordion expansion. I installed it extended out to about 4ft but then I realized there was too much slack. I was easily able to shorten the hose to the length I needed to have the dryer 2ft from the wall and able to attach to the vent duct that leads outside. This product is like an accordion where it can extend out to 6ft. The product arrived well wrapped and packaged. In fact it was only about 7 inches in height yet able to expand to 6ft. I’m a 68 year old female and was able to install this dryer vent hose myself. I saved myself $75 for an installation. This product is very easy to use, is very durable and the material is very good. The yellow twist caps are very easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

Finally. I have spent years looking for a short sturdy flexible vent hose like this one, that also is up to code. PERFECT. My new dryer kept kicking out flow sensor error messages because the installation nimrods sent by the big box store I bought it from had no clue (did not care) and used a too-long poorly made flexible hose to connect to outside vent. Never vented properly. This fixed it in short order. (pun intended) Went on easy. More flexible than stiff all metal vent hoses. The new easy turn screws on the clamps worked great. Hand tighten. No tools required (except to remove the old one). Shorter run means no more kinks, no more error messages. And up to code, finally. Best $10 I ever spent.

I needed to replace the dryer vent hose to the outside. I have Never attempted anything like this before, but I thought I would give it a try. I am So Very Happy I did!-:) The hose Quality is Thicker and Better Quality than I was Expecting, but I was still able to cut it down to size. The Fantastic Yellow Twisties that are included to tighten at the ends are amazing!!!!🤗 The S/H was Fast, and the Price Point was Excellent!!👍😊 I am So Very Happy I found this Wonderful product, and Thrilled that I did it myself...You Can Too!!😁Thank You So Very Much Amazon for This!!-:)

I was getting a new dryer from Home Depot. I decided I better clean the dryer exhaust pipe (since I had not done so since moving in). Ugh... Too much lint. After vacuuming and sweeping I just threw away the old light weight flexible pipe that was still lint encrusted. Then I made the mistake of buying a semi-rigid pipe- too heavy- and I could not for the life of me attach it to the ceiling pipe that vented to the outside- it was too heavy- and aluminum tape would not secure it and i could not force the crimped end onto the outdoor pipe extension. And my old arthritic hands kept fumbling those stupid worm clamps trying to hold them in place, hold the pipe and turn a screwdriver at the same time. Then I saw this product- had a good feeling and ordered it. It felt MUCH more well made, heavy duty compared to my old exhaust vent pipe but nowhere near as heavy and unyielding as the semi rigid tube that totally stymied all my efforts to install. This worked like a dream- easy to connect, handle, and quickly tightened down with those yellow paddles, then smoothed into place with thick aluminized duct tape. I felt like a real handy man for sure even though I am all thumbs. And I was ready for the delivery and install of my new dryer! Yaaa !!! 😀👍

The dryer vent exhaust duct fits perfectly and arrived just as described—heavy-duty and durable. I even bumped it against the wall a few times while adjusting my dryer, and it held up with no tears at all. The length was just right and it flexes with my dryer then snaps right back into place every time. It also came with two hand-tighten clamps. Overall, it’s a great product for the price—well-made and reliable.

Easy to install, nice and thick, durable and went right on! The yellow turns come off and are convenient! No tools needed!! Perfect length!
